It was a great guided tour and put us in a good mood! I like the background music you chose, it's very relaxing! CRETE island is beautiful, the food looks delicious, I really want to go there for vacation. Great job again, thank you so much for sharing! 👍🥰🙌
We spent 1 month on Crete last year in Oct. A fabulous island and Balos Beach is epic. The day we visited the wind was 3 times worse and the blowing sand actually hurt your skin. Remarkable beach and a beautiful drive in. There are so many private small remote beaches on the island to explore and Rethymno was one of our favorites.
I was swimming when we toured at several beaches but it will depend on the wind etc. Early Oct, but later less people in the water. @@external_legacy9585
Congratulations to you guys to heads Crete,Greece last week to tours around these remarkable islands beaches in Greece with other tourists from May to June of 2023❤❤❤
I wish people were more considerate in natural settings. Just to be able to listen to the ocean is so special. There’s a time and a place for the music !
Thank you guys for visiting our island!!! The colors are really amazing in Balos and fromus who live there, thank you for your respect to our place!!! Nice and simple video.. the view is breathtaking!!!
Awesome always wanted to go to Balo beech..We did the Samaria Gorge walk, it was great getting the boat back round when we had done it and seeing the high cliffs of the white mountains drop away to the sea...
Thank you for the tour in, for me a very familiar Rethymnon. The harbour, the restaurants, the venizian fountain in the Old Town. I love the Old Towns in Crete. Could walk all day there and never get bored. I could almost smell the food, looked yammi 😋
Hiya. Chris and Carol. Wow, amazing views on your trail. You can hear that wind howling. Gorgeous drone footage. The sand is beautiful. Gorgeous lagoon. It is a little rude to play music. Thank you for the tour around. Forever learning. A gorgeous place for your late lunch. Your food looked tasty. Love the old town. Perfect music. Nice apartment. Lovely video. As always. Thank you for sharing. Have a wonderful week.

Welcome to Crete,Greece last week to releases your third remarkable videos @ these remarkable beaches on a hills in Greece after leaving the Maldives two weeks ago in 2023❤❤❤
Balos is such an amazing world class location. Probably the only one we have in Crete. Unfortunately the tourism industry and the greed of the locals has ruined this place for me. I started going there about 10 years ago and every time I went after the first time it was worse and worse. TONS of tourists arriving with polluting boats, the whole place smelling of diesel. Beach umbrellas everywhere. Its just plain wrong for such an amazing remote location. I am surprised they havent set up a casino on top of the islet. It appears that you did the right thing and went there early morning/offseason ? I see few tourists, so this is absolutely the best time to enjoy it. Sorry for the runt, safe travels guys!
Hey Chris and Carol, The pink beach comes from an oyster-like microorganism called Benthic Foraminifera. The shell of these animals are bright pink or red. When they die, their shells calcify and wash up on the sand. The shells are 540 million years old, and most of the foraminifera shells and remnants on the pink beaches are actually fossils. The snakes in the boat on the other hand doesn’t have a simplified story. Google can help better than me on that one.🤣 Saganaki 👍 Rich 🇬🇷🐈
It happened to us when trying to watch sunrise in Bagan, Myanmar. We got up before dawn, made our way to one of the few higher viewpoints to see the sunrise and the hot air balloons fly overhead, but then some backpacker arrived blasting obnoxious music on his ghetto blaster. It really killed the vibe. If you want to listen to music that is fine, but wear headphones to be considerate of others.
Rethymno is one of my favorite cities in Greece, such a chill vibe and the food is excellent. It also has a very very nice beach but it seems you missed it.
Beautiful location... I am with you on the music..you just want to relax and listen to the waves... but I wanted to drink beer and dance on the beach I would only listen to my college buddy's band Widespread Panic... cheers 🍻

Hope you get a chance to go to Skiathos whilst you're hopping around Greece. Not sure if you've been before but think you would like it as it has a lot of beautiful beaches on a small island and the town itself has little winding cobbled streets and plenty of great restaurants. Give Olive Thea a go.... it's up in the hills overlooking Skopelos and they'll collect you from your accomodation and take you back.... for free
Hey hello thumbs up really good video 👌🏼 if you gonna stay longer dont miss AGIOS NIKOLAOS and my friends taverna Maistrali. The food there will blow your minds 🤩 χαρούμενο ταξίδι 😊
I just discovered your channel. Have only watched your Abu Dhabi video. Scrolled through and saw you guys dont have any videos on the spanish islands of Ibiza or Mallorca. Also Australian beaches are underrated.
I lived on Crete for 2 years and got to see most of the island except for the very southeast point. The beach at Vai is really nice, would like to have had a snorkel mask though. Looked like a lot of sea life under there but hard to see without a mask. I went to Balos twice on the boat tour, it made a stop at the Venetian fort on the way.
I’m back 😅 I need to catch up to …. Maldives 😊 This side of Crete is amazing we ve only been to the east part almost 20 y ago with the idea of coming back to explore but we never did 🤪 This is glorious and we need to go and we were supposed to go to Greece following your last visit in 22 but I’ve been watching the flight prices from UK and it’s been outrageous so we off to Sicily Corsica Portugal and France instead with Greece at the back of my mind when prices come down! Keep them coming Enjoy🙏🏼 Sabrina🇫🇷🇬🇧

Gramvoussa never used to have any parasols, so many of them now! 😞 it was free access but the road is way better now! It used to be literally driving on rocks! And no barrier. It took an hour for the last five km to the parking lot! The pink sand consists of tiny little pink seashells, they slowly get ground up into sand. In Greek mythology the mountains of Crete are the birthplace of Zeus and was and hidden in a mountain cave from his father Cronos (Saturn in latin) who ate his children in fear of losing sovereignty. More specifically the cave of Dicteon Andron, near Malia. It was a place of worship form prehistoric to Roman times, the artefacts and votives found there are displayed in the archeological museum in Heraklio and in Agios Nikolaos.
Beautifully phographed as always ,I did not mind the absence of crowds.A bit pricey for food and all the signs are in English, thought you were in Crete.

@@JumpingPlaces I was there November 2020 to February 21 . It was a very strict lockdown, had to send a text stating one of a few reasons you wanted to go out and you had to have your permission text reply in order show police ( and they did ask) that you had not been out for longer than you were allowed etc., A few takeaway coffee shops were open luckily, at the one near my apartment they spoke English , so that (and the supermarket )was my only interaction., In the end I defied the rules and scarpered to Corfu where I had family and friends.😊.

Yeah just about, there was one point where the drone wouldn't even move forward anymore, i had to fly it down close to the ground where the wind was weaker and then slowly move forward back to where we were
