History has been made as a legitimate batch of articulated buses are running in Queens on the Q44. Queens finally joins Manhattan and The Bronx by having a set of articulated buses running in the borough, in NovaBus LFS Articulated form!
31-41 of these buses are due to arrive at Casey Stengel Depot to run on the Q44, word has it that they may show up on the Q12 but there has not been any confirmation about that as of yet. These buses are due to retire the 600 series Orion Vs, where some are still running strong while others are on their last legs.
Seen here is an on-board ride of NovaBus LFS Articulated 5903 operating on the Q44 Limited to The Bronx Zoo. The segment seen here is taken from Queens Blvd to either 73rd or Jewel Avenue, I forgot where exactly.

I'm hoping this bus ends up in the Q31,Q32 or the Q76 cuz I'm tired of the these 1996 Orion 5 which many of them is retired and some still running.

Honolulu has a 2010 NovaBus LFS. It's not an articulated bus. The TMC RTS might be covered in Nova. Honolulu used to have TMC RTS. The TMC RTS was replaced by the 2010 Nova Bus LFS. The TMC RTS was retired in 2011 in Honolulu. Honolulu never had a 2010 NovaBus LFS articuled bus. Honolulu like gets more NewFlyer articulated buses. Nova Buses , NewFlyer , and Gillig Buses are the best! This bus kinda sounds similar to the 2015 NewFlyer XD60, the 2014 NewFlyer XDE60, and the 2007 NewFlyer D60LFR. I think the 2014 NewFlyer XDE60 and the 2015 NewFlyer XD60 uses a small HVAC system at the back. Just like the 2007 NewFlyer D60LFR. And I think that's what makes the sound of the bus. The 2007 NewFlyer D60LFR uses a small HVAC system at the back and I think that's what makes it kinda loud. The 2009 NewFlyer uses a low profile battery pack and that's what makes the sound of that bus. The 2006 NewFlyer uses the original battery pack design. The 2004 NewFlyer DE60LF has Cat C9 engines. Or the Catterpillar C9. I don't think the 2004 NewFlyer DE60LF uses a battery pack. The 2004 NewFlyer DE60LF sounds similar to the 2006 NewFlyer DE40LFR. The 2010 NewFlyer DE60LFR uses Battery Electric ( I think ). And I think that's what makes the sound of that bus.
