Been rainy up here in SC also. But yeah man, I have the Beast Max and it's really the same and I run 3s sometimes. So I think you'll be safe running 3s with yours. NICE video and thanks for the content! 🙂 Oh and I put a set of oil filled shocks on mine. It helps A LOT!!
This is a fantastic platform, but this specific style has a couple of worse parts. The driveshafts are 1mm thinner than the OEM car (Suchiyu 16101, 16102, etc Pro model) and 2mm thinner where they go into the cups. The front steering links are also a screw thru a pivot ball instead of a threaded pivot ball which actually prevents chassis slap in the front. Also this one uses some kind of Glue/red loctite whereas the original Suchiyus use normal thread lock that doesn’t require heat :) Still a great car!
I have 2 of these just different bodies and they are great little trucks. If you are looking for some oil filled shocks for them the best option I've found are the ones for the HBX 1/16 line. $20 and great quality!

Are you sure that center brace is just painted plastic? Pretty sure its metal of some sort, derby rc and tomley both bent that piece on reviews of other scy platform RC's.
This car same like Suchiyu 16101 Pro version body and all part...only the pinion gear not same only...😅 because my friend got this car than im have Suchiyu 16101 Pro..
