Hello Patricia! Hold the knob where the band joins together and push the band below the knob up. As you push the band up you should see a loop form out of the top of the knob. After a desired amount of band is pushed through, grab the right (or left side) of the band coming out of the top of the knob and pull until the loop that was formed becomes flush with the knob again. Repeat steps on both sides evenly. Hope this helps!

How do I adjust bands to make them shorter?
