  • This small wireless mic system is amazing. This mic setup is tiny and sounds as good as wireless packs 3-4 times the price.

Hey, I always love seeing some solid Canadian content. I appreciated the review but I wanted to comment because WOW! A lot of content I see coming from C200 or C500 I’ve always thought felt very flat. I’m not sure if it’s a reflection of your settings or colour correction, but you did an excellent job.

Hi Lee thanks for the video, you have taken much pain in providing the feedback of Rode Go. I have a question, for self voice recording indoors and outdoor, Rode Go is good, but if we are in a concert or outdoor and want to record the voice of self as well as concert/ market then can we use Rode Go? Like for vlogging we need to put Rode Go facing us. During concert/ outdoor if we face it towards the concert, how would be the output? Pleaee help

This device looks great until you start looking at some negative reviews. Like you experienced, many people say the signal is unreliable, even at 10' away. It has to be reliable! Hearing stories about it cutting out at 10' is enough to scare me off. Hopefully Gen 2 will fix these issues. Also, a microSD in the transmitter would be a great add.

This lav mic sounds great, but $249. that's $ 50more than the rec/transmitter. for audio equipment is that normal? I saw some reviews with the lav go which is only $80, but the sound wasn't anything impressive. Great vid, thanks!

You get what you pay for. I listed the one I used in this video which is a mid tier mic. There are cheaper and more expensive mic’s. But I listed the one I used. I have no experience with the lav go yet. But I have one in a box Rode sent me the other day. I’ll have to try it out
