I love the honest compassion for others you show. Lost 12 friends in the military, 4 in one day and now my uncle is going through cancer treatment. Keep the shout outs coming for those who aren’t with us anymore.

Never apologize for the tears and compassion! It is this love for each other, for hunting, and for others, whether you have ever met them or not is just one of the many reasons I love watching your progress and videos. Thank you for providing the caring and heartfelt love of the outdoors and each other with us.

I have been through two battles with cancer in the last two years and have not been able to hunt during that time. I first started watch last year when I could not get out of bed. Watching your hunts and brotherhood really made me feel like I was in the hills instead of in bed or in the cancer center. I think I should be well enough to hunt some in 2019 season. Thank you guys so much for helping me get through some difficult times. NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE!

Kody, don’t ever have to apologize for letting your heart show in love and caring for others brother. That’s a tough assignment. Thank you for standing with others in tough times. Definitely a Kleenex moment for me. I lost my Mom while caring for her in our home through Hospice care. Then went through cancer surgery. So, your statement about getting out there and living your dreams hit home. Hope to walk the woods of Wyoming next fall. Thanks for what you guys are doing for the hunting community.

BRO, Hush,Elk101. You guys are truly inspiration to many many folk! Myself included! More outdoor personalities need to take a chapter out of yalls book, too many are all about the sponsors and horn porn! I’m afraid many really forget what hunting is all about! You guys are a breath of fresh air to say! I’m 42 from Missouri and never hunted Elk, but am so fortunate that I came across yalls channels ! I have shared and told all friends and family about your channels and videos! I promise you all that one day in the near future I WILL be in the Elk woods and WILL harvest my first Elk ! I’m sure I can speak for a lot of us out here, THANK YOU and don’t ever stop!

Thanks guys for keeping it real and focusing on the important things. My brother is 50 and is on hospice for a very rare cancer. Life is precious and showing emotion for others loss or heartache is admirable in my book. Nothing to apologize for. A shout out to my big brother Brad. He is not a hunter like me and doesn’t watch these videos, but he has touched many young people’s lives as a middle school teacher.

  • @hanksandy9447

So impressed with your raw emotion shown, for the compassion and empathy of these folks that are dealing with serious life issues! It’s no act that you love God, and love people...and your BRO show is such a great testimony and may be somehow evangelical to some that watch. Whether you intend it to be or not, you are not afraid to pray, show love to each other(and tear them down with jokes around the campfire) you are joyful not jealous when others succeed. And you are humbled and broken when someone writes in with a shout-out that make you realize life is short and that your show, an elk hunting day by day on RUclips is a great testimony. Evangelism is not beating people with the Bible, it’s overwhelming them with love, kindness, and bugling bulls! Love your show and keep up the great work and Gods work through you. You don’t need to change a thing, God’s got you covered😇. May God bless your team and families this Christmas Season and a Happy New Year! Look forward to meeting you soon. Andy Hanks

Kody never apologize for your manly love for other human beings known or not known. As a Vietnam Veteran I’ve seen lives lost and shed many a tear and I did the same thing as you and apologized and had someone tell me what I just relayed to you and it made a difference in my life. I still shed a tear for every military member who has given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. And it is always very rewarding for me as I am honoring that person for his sacrifice. God Bless you and all the others of Land of the Free and their families and my wishes for a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Thoughts n prayers to these families and all families who have loved ones fighting cancer or have lost someone to cancer or lost someone in general. I lost my aunt to brain cancer in 2012. I know it’s tough and it doesn’t get easier. I agree always spend as much time as possible with loved ones and stay positive. You really don’t know what you got till it’s gone. Cherish the time with loved ones. Thank you guys for always being honest with the uncuts and sharing these stories. You guys truly are great guys who do nothing but show love. I want to thank you for that.

Inspired by you guys! I'm leaving in the morning to start my OTC archery hunt for mule deer. First deer hunt in about 20 years. Being active duty military was hard to hunt with deployments and other over seas obligations. Now I'm retired military but still work to pay the bills, I'm getting back into it and owe you guys a ton for the inspiration and dedication shown, thank you so much for leading the way. You honestly the tip of the spear! From the bottom of my heart I pray for God to bless you and your family!

Kody I have the same type of emotion as you when I hear these stories. Never be sorry for the love you have for people known or not as that's how God made us and I appreciate you sharing these stories or shout outs. I also agree with you on living life to the fullest as my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer about two years ago and it has been a long bumpy ride to say the least... All I can do is hold on and let God be our guide and continue to support her and our four kids and not waste one day! Great job guys in Wyoming and can't wait for my home state of Idaho!!

Two weeks ago from today we loaded a truck at work and the driver started strapping down. He didn’t give the impression that he was an advocate for living a healthy lifestyle but he seemed just fine when I talked to him. 1130 we all went to lunch in our shop not more than 50 yards away. About 1205 my brother gets a phone call saying the driver is dead. I had seen an ambulance drive by but didn’t think anything of it bc no one should be working at that time. We walked out side and there were emts giving the guy cpr. This really shook me to the core. In an instant that man took his last breath. Never saw it coming. Just another day at work hauling another load. Once pronounced deceased the ambulance left and there was just a corpse there under a white sheet for hours. In the dirt next to a semi. It was extremely sad. I pray I don’t go out like that and it really made me think about exactly what Cody just said. Life is short and you never know when it could all be taken away. Enjoy it to the last drop

@Born and Raised Outdoors - Kody and Wes, you are both solid, good men and I thank you for all you said and all you do to support others and help them. Firstly, Kody, don't apologize for having an empathetic, good heart. That is never something anyone should ever feel is something they are in need of apologizing for! I could not agree more with your statement about if there is something you want to do, go do it instead of waiting because life can change in an instant. Now you have GOT to know that I am not comparing, in any way shape or form, my situation to Todd's situation or his family's loss, but I can relate to what you said. I have always wanted to go hunting and learn to shoot. I did not grow up with hunting family members, but I did always want to learn to shoot and nature has always soothed my soul. I am a single mom - have been since my daughter was a year old. I told myself that when she graduated high school, I was going to take up hunting/shootng/archery and go for a trip with some friends once she's done school. Well, she graduated last year and I couldn't be more proud of her. However, about 8 years ago, I had a spine/spinal cord injury. I've had 6 failed surgeries in the last 8 years and am now pretty much bed ridden. I never did get my hunt in. Having said this, your series (on my second viewing of 2.0 and have seen 1.0 twice) and your other videos do bring my a lot of that same feeling I'd get when I was out in nature, surrounded by like-minded people. Thanks for sharing these vids, you guys! Heather🇨🇦

I was cheering for Brady. First Bull is always amazing. I’d put money on next year him punching a tag.

My wife said all she wants for Christmas is a land of the free sweatshirt. Just ordered it today. Merry Christmas.
