Thanks for not being the third presenter of videos I've watched today, for whom I've had to post a comment about how to pronounce 'Bosham'. My children and grandchildren all live in Bosham (not close to the coast, but slightly inland, up near Bosham railway station. My son and daughter have extensive experience sailing boats on Chichester Harbour, having both worked at the CYE Sailing Centre in Chidham. Nowadays, my son (father of my three grandchildren) runs the Crossfit Gym in Bosham, close to where they live. My daughter works as a sailing instructor, among other things, at the Andrew Simpson Centre in Portsmouth: she's officially 'Operations and Regional Manager'.
If you're walking or cycling around this area it's worth including the Chichester Canal. There's a towpath from Chichester Marina all the way to the Basin in the city
Ah, just watched your Thorney Island video and suggested West Witterings and East Head. Lovely place. My boat is near Emsworth so if you fancy a sail let me know. Andy UK
Lovely video. Did have to laugh when you said the locals pronounce “Bosam” not Bosham 🤔 Nearly all so called locals are rich second home owners from London The same situation in Itchenor. Both are ghost villages in winter 🙄

Thorney Island is one of my favorites also east head, and I just love the Chichester marina with lunch or tea at the boathouse cafe. cheers flipflop.
I will be visiting an old friend in Chichester this weekend. Traveling from San Francisco CA USA to visit. -)
I love Chichester Harbour. Just did a 12 mile hike from Chichester via the canal, Marina, Itchenor ending up West Wittering Beach
Oh wow sound fab! Bet you saw some beautiful views!
Really interesting, thank you!
Great video, I like Thorney Island and Emsworth is a nice town. Thank's for your tips for trips. :)
No worries! Yes, Emsworth is lovely!
Wow- seeing those houseboats by Chichester Marina jogged my memory. Have not seen this since 1974. How time flies. That area is great.
350 year old Crab & Lobster in Sidlesham is fantastic - lunch, dinner or stay - on the edge of the Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve
Oh great tip - thank you. I'll have to try it one day!
Beautiful place
