I admit I had kind of fallen off watching most BMC videos but this series has really brought me back. Great to watch an ambitious build but also just enjoying the vibe of the whole project.

I'm loving watching this. Sometimes you just gotta build something ridiculous and huge and amazing just to scratch the deep brain itch that says "why not do something a little crazy?"
Usually I skip the ads. Today's one had me riveted to my screen. I have three projects in mind. Two are dioramas for Barbie/Action figures. The other is to make myself a corset. I'm getting closer to making these, but today is not that day. I am really enjoying this build.
On the one side, I'm loving this build because it inspires the "because I can and you won't stop me" ideas in my brain, but also because the "what has my hubris wrought" energy you're giving with the editing of some of the videos.
I actually started my own ridiculous tower just last week. After years of not wanting to embark on any big projects for fear of their uselessness, I just dove in and started making a whole scenic board. Most fun I've had in the hobby in forever; I couldn't tear myself away from it
You saying "build your own giant tower" reminded me of a thing I did as a kid, which was stack up books on bottles and toys and stuff to make a giant ass tower of evil magic or whatever. Eventually it'd come tumbling down but that was part of the fun. And this video series has reminded me of that conceptual tower. Maybe I'll have to begin looking into making a new tower

For people who don't have to make bombastic videos about their builds, this tower would be an excellent modular build. If you keep each tier as a standalone piece, the tower becomes easier to store and the individual components can be recycled. You also get a lot of customizability out of being able to stack pieces in different orders. Most excitingly, you can place tiers down for the party as they fight their way from floor to floor and really make them feel like they're climbind (or descending) the tower!
You also won't burn out as quickly if you're regularly generating usable pieces that you can have more fun with instead of being locked into a massive time commitment before you produce anything playable.
Also, all that potentially playable room space within each level just makes me wanna cry. =-[.]-=
The inside is small. Not usable for play space.
This build makes me want to see a Blackmagic X Zorpazorp colab! Would be a long trip to New Zealand, but worth it for sure.

This megaproject is so cool! I made my own one off megaproject a couple years ago. It was a two-deck starship that ended up being 4 feet long and about 50 pounds all told. It ended up taking me about 9 months, so I appreciate the dedication you have to finish this thing!
I am really enjoying every step of this build. Having each section as its own playable area is a great idea.
I can't wait for the next step in the project.

I will say, as your videos have been coming out, I have been using the little spare time I have to build a foam manor house/tavern that has been larger and more in depth than any of the other stuff I made before, so watching this mini series and the emotions of what you have been going through helped me keep plugging away at my project

The phrase “magnificent madness” comes to mind.
That tower was so ambitious that it gave you pause even starting it and it’s grown to the point that it seems to scare you.
But damn man, it’s exceeded your expectations so wonderfully that we all know it was worth it and you owe it to the tower, and yourself, to finish it.
I’m thinking you are not looking forward to painting it because you’ve done stone so many times that you’re looking at it as drudge work. Well, so was the brickwork but you powered through that. If you feel inspiration has run out, what colors and techniques have you never used on foam stonework before? What have you done that you didn’t think looked right on smaller pieces?
This is an epic piece and deserves an epic finish, something that doesn’t require fiddly work like drawing veins of quartz in granite for instance. You’ve done weird colors like purple, how about red or orange stone like what is very common in the American southwest?

I really can't help but to look at it as gladiatorial pits of Nuceria, and having a narrative campaign that starts with an Angron breaking free of thee pit and trying to reach the top of the tower where the exit is, and along the way he gather his Eaters of Cities
Never thought I'd say this for a RUclips video but... man, that sponsor-ad! Some serious DM Scotty vibes there with the retro narration and dancing! Also, the build is coming along nicely, and love how you keep on pushing towards your goal. My own ambitious craft would be a huge desecrated cathedral for Mordheim, but fortunately I still need to make the basics for a decent board first, so I can say it's still "out there". :)

Something that been going through my brain while watching this series watching content creators create these gigantic mega boards/buildings (a.e. zorzorp and others). The creation process that you give out to the fan base is inspirational and fantastic. I personally may not be able to have them create in my space but seeing them built is fantastic. Thank you! First, into the AM spot that made me laugh. The censored bar and the “lifestyle caught up to you in your 30’s” got me. Build is looking dope though. Also, love the grainy video and 80’s throwback synth music. These videos are fun even if you’re falling deeper into further insanity.

more mega project! honestly the bottom is such a stellar piece, the tower now kinda feels like whatever. Still think you are on the right path of using it as a display piece for cons, but i'm more excited to see more work on the bottom than top.

Thank you for the little inspirating push in the back, this tower is a great intro set up, it would be so cool you can have the two set up in the same place in the lore, like having the coliseum inside the tower, may build removable doors or something to make the tower a little modular.
