For you press lines, you can just press the rest of the towel. But I have also found that I can use a lint roller and it will pick the pile back up and make it look more even. These are so cute!!
I think it is great that you are experimenting on this because it keeps those of us that do not do a lot of these waffle weave projects, from making and wasting a lot of material. I appreciate you experimenting with us on here Becky. Thank you so much!!
Thank you Becky for making this video. Recently I started sublimaton and no idea I would have to figure out what is going to work for me and my equipment. I just thought it was "hit the time and temperature" and “done” but its not. Thank you for giving us a more realistic view of how it really works!
Have you ever tried to press a recipe on the waffle weave towels? I’m wondering if the small print would not press well or not show up well in the indentions of the waffle. I have a friend who wants me to make her one with one of her mom’s recipes.
Anytime, always happy to help! Another viewer mentioned using a mist of peroxide, so be sure to have some handy just in case. Thanks for stopping by! ---Becky
Hey Mandielee! I would suggest lightening your pressure. Depending on the type of heat press you have, most of them have a knob that you can turn. Hope this helps! ---Becky

Hey Cindy! I do, I purchased them from Craft Chameleon. They are sold out of the "regular" ones but have a great deal on some "seconds" that are perfect to practice on. I'll link you below. Thank you so much ❤️
Thank you for the video! Use a lint brush after pressing and it should pull the fibers back up
I LOVE that you were troubleshooting this tutorial!!

Heat transfer tape would also work if you didn't want the tackiness from the spray. The spray would be good to use in a pinch
What are the general design size would work on a towel. Some suggest 5x8 or 5 x 6. I would like to avoid the design to be too small for the area
do you do glossy side down or up for butcher paper for the top layer? would you do cardstock for the bottom layer between the heating pad and fabric?

Great suggestion! I will pass it along to our team!
Thank you for this!!!! Shows me how to do the testing when things don't go right.
Thank you for working that out for me. Lol. I had some towels on my want to do list

What would you suggest on a heat press to not flatten out the waffle print ?

What size is your image?
Hi Betsy! Once the design is uploaded to your program, you can resize it to fit your project needs. - Dawn
Why is my picture not very bright when I do sublimation?
Try using a higher heat setting on your press. This will cause the dyes to sublimate more completely, resulting in brighter prints.
