    Awesome drill man, you have a really good point on the quick reload drills most people run, your drill is way more practical. I will definitely be running it soon.

    Mushy trigger is usually the more reliable method. You won't always feel the bolt lock back, particularly when wearing any vest or strap that you would normally wear when employing rifles. I still do a similar drill, but gun not firing is what sets me to require a reload.
