Fantastic video for people like myself with an average joinery skill. Looks like a making that frame is very manageable and your instruction with tools and types of cuts and methods is easy to understand and you make it interesting to watch. 👏👏👏👏👏
I like the stop motion effect. Must've been annoying to take so many pictures and then put them together in the video editing. (Also you have quite a cult following from Video Games Awesome. I can tell you where to look if you're interested.)
+Rob Palmer DIY I'm glad to hear that! Your enthusiasm and energy really shows when you present anything. And that's why we all laugh so much when we watch you work. It's important to note we're all laughing WITH you, and NOT at you. The way VGA presented your work is intentionally shortened and out of context because you have the personality and attitude to grab and keep anyone's attention. Rest assured we do watch your video in its entirety on our own time, so we can learn something in-context. So the RUclips videos I shall refer to you may look similar to a roast with you as a guest of honor (with LOTS of adult language/profanity so be advised), but believe when I say we're genuinely interested in your work because you have the talent to produce and teach things. Also your resemblance to Kyle Huinink AND profession is oddly too similar to be a mere coincidence, so we found that hilarious too. The first video can be found by typing this into RUclips's search (without quotes): "Kyle's Doppelganger Farfromsubtle" The second video is a bit hidden, but you can find it in Farfromsubtle's channel under Playlist, and then "Show and Trailer: July 2016" and then watch the very last video on the bottom of the playlist. They saved you as the best for last! That's how we found you! And now we get the privilege to learn from the tips you share including health-related ones such as diabetes and the importance of having friends. Thanks for already subscribing to the Farfromsubtle channel and welcome to the VGA community! Looking forward to the inevitable crossover between you and Kyle! Check out Kyle's own business at Hue.N.Ink Designs (you'll easily find his website by doing a Google search). And remember, we don't care about the TV network, where you go, we will follow. You have an audience no matter what. Take care Rob!
Great to see you again. like your video style too. When I made my bench I also added castors. I used locking ones on the front for stability when working. Later I added drawers (based on some you made a few years ago). Thanks for that.
Thank you for very informative and interesting video, with some great tips. I hope to try something similar, using old decking as the rails and 4 inch square fence posts cut to size, as the posts of the bench, then topped with old/ new kitchen work top. Thank you again Sam
Great video. Thanks for not dragging it out for 30 mins and repeating everything 5 times! Thumbs up from me.

It's only annoying if your not having fun and right now i am loving it.
Thanks for the heads up on VGA. Yes thanks, show me the way.

Top job Rob. You should make more videos as your enthusiastic delivery and no nonsense approach is great.
New to me this channel. Must say I do approve of your no nonsense style and chirpy demeanor. Subbing
I'm really sure you can build it yourself. I did this 2 weeks ago thanks to the Woodglut plans.
Try the best carpenters and woodworkers plans. Stodoys plans.
I heard very good opinions about the Woodglut plans.

G'day Michael. Glad to hear the bench is working for you.
Woodglut has very good designs and plans.
Woodglut is nice for that.

I bought instruction from woodprix and I build it very very cheap.
It's soooo good to see you again Rob. As soon as I seen it was you, it was a straight up subscription.
Love it. Well put and to the point. Legend.
Plans from stodoys help solve technical problems.
Go to woodprix if you'd like to build it yourself.
