I find when I talk to people I find that some just don’t want to know, but all feel that things are really bad and the UK has gone downhill badly.

Hi Gaz, I’m 68yrs old, at the age 15 I left school on a Friday and started work on the following Monday, all my friends I was in school with basically did the same, there were jobs everywhere none of us went to university we just got on with working buying a house etc we all got along with each other,kids today leave school go to college then university end up with a meaningless degree and have no idea how to communicate or how to get along in the real world, just my thoughts, have a great Weekend everyone.

You are not some sort of special case because you didn’t go to university, I went to university and I think the country is going to the dogs, aim your ire in the right place, it’s the mindset of an insane censorious clique that is going to finish us as a civilised country, they care so much about world injustice that they don’t care about the consequences for their own country. To blame Tony Blair for the current immigration crisis, is wilful ignorance. considering the Country of origin of irregular arrivals, Syria features higher, and it could be argued that this was a result of an illegal tory war. However, Vietnam, Sudan, Albania, Eritrea, Sri lanka, India Georgia, and Iran all feature highly as the Country of origin. People are seeking a better life, and there is also an element of Asylum due to persecution, that is a global problem not of Iraq or Afganistan in particular.

I wasn’t talking to myself when I was on the main road and it was said as more of an example of how life has changed. The area where I live everyone knows everyone and I’m happy to walk home, loads used to stop and offer and would mostly say I’m ok thanks for the offer and just plod on.
