I've let eco styler gel go a while ago and just have been using my wetline but these results and the performance looks like what I would get from my Xtreme gel but with better ingredients than xtreme. It's like a reverse dupe! Gotta grab it!

Thank you Jaylana! I think it’ll do well with the spray leave in from African pride, but I’m not sure about the heavier leave in or curling creams. I’ve experienced a little bit of flaking when I’ve used those before, so I’m hesitant to try it with the gel!

Love the results! I'm especially interested in trying it out as a healthier alternative to Wetline. Did you notice any other differences between your usual and African Pride gels?
Nope no difference! It’s right up there with wetline as far as the amount of hold I get and the amount of days my style lasts!
I have the original. Haven’t seen the others. I like it. I’ve used with ufd under.
You used UFD curly magic under it? That sounds like an interesting combo!!
@@AllThingsMoElle lessens the holds but increases the moisture a lot. I don’t really use leaveins so that might be important to note lol.

Perfect timing sis. I have not tried these gels but I am interested. All sections look great. But I do think the Castor/Jojoba has just a hint more of definition. Just a hint since all sections look great. As far as lasting moisture through out the week, how would you compare these to Eco Olive? Eco Olive is my king of defintion, but I have to use a jar of oil underneath to keep my hair from feeling like straw by end of the week.
These are definitely more moisturizing than the regular Eco Olive, and just slightly more moisturizing than the Eco Olive 10X Moisture one. I will say that you’ll probably have more luck with a water based moisturizer under the gel, versus an oil.

I really like the Castor Oil gel. It gave me good definition, but I did experience a lot of frizz in my problem areas, but it's hard tame them anyway. I really like the African Pride products though. Moving forward, I think the gets will be better suited for defined twist-outs instead of wash and go's for me anyway, but I like the products.

Thank you! Back when my hair was longer (in this video) I would pineapple it at night. Now that I've cut several inches off I just throw the bonnet on at night and then fluff it out in the morning!
I use the one that is the hydrating and curl defining gel, but in the comparison I would by the Castor oil one the Olive oil one gave a little frizz vibes. I am willing to try both just to be sure and Thanks for the heads-up to these 2 new gels

Hey! I’ve used the TGIN miracle repaiRx leave in and curl food each time I’ve used that gel. They pair so well together that I never bothered to try it with anything else lol
I used the leave in conditioner spray, the oil from the line and the original curl defining gel
Your girls are gorgeous but those gels are a no for me. I tried to them before and just wasn’t enough definition or hold. My hair type is 4a/4b. Could’ve been what I paired it with (Mielle Leave in).
