Good question. Honestly the MJX is a bit wild, but you can also turn down the power, and it's really extremely durable, as is the HBX. I'd say the MJX by the slightest margin is the better car all-round, and for beginners because it won't take long to get comfortable with it, and there won't be a need to seek out higher performance for a while.

You'd have an absolute blast. It really is a wild little car. The most versatile, and in my opinion, the best MJX so far. I was skeptical about the metal chassis at the skatepark, even with the chassis brace, but it stayed straight, and I was being really rough. The only remaining question is how long the gearing will last driving that way, but as you know, if it stripped a gear tomorrow it would have held up better than even some big name bashers already for the amount of punishment it took.
hi, I've seen other max 1/16 scale rc trucks, but they are 2x cheaper than this one. But they all have brushless motors, what's different except the controlling range?
This one is faster than the 16 scale line, it also has a higher Kv motor, slightly longer radio range, and it's a little larger so it's more stable and able off road. The 16 scale MJX is amazing, I did a couple videos on that version as well and loved it. But the 14 scale version is a bit better overall if I'm being fully honest.
