- I just got done watching THE MARVELS, and there is a LOT we need to talk about, and what this means for the MCU in Phase 5 and Phase 6 leading to Kang Dysnasty, with a new group of the Guardians
Synopsis: THE MARVELS - Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. However, unintended consequences see her shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with two other superheroes to form the Marvels.

Secret invasion should have been the avengers level movie(but not an avengers movie) that ended phase 4. Things would have felt better for narrative over all if they did that. Instead of ending phase 4 with black panther 2.

Stature, Spider-Man, Kate Bishop, Hulk's son, Ned (Spider-Man's best friend), Kamala Khan, America Chavez, a few others. They're introducing alot of female characters, tho. I'll say that much.
@@KuruptdMuzikIn the movie Kamala Khan (female) contacts Kate Bishop (female) to join her team, and she also mention Scott Lang’s daughter, Cassie Lang, (female) and they’ll probably add RiRi Williams (female) since they basically have done nothing with her character since Black Panther 2. And also America Chavez (female) since nothing has happened with her either. Ned doesn’t even remember Peter and so has effectively no relationship to any superheroes, and Hulk’s son has had like 5 seconds of screen time (literally,) so don’t tell me this isn’t going to be an all female team.

Here we go again. Binary was Carol Danvers who lost her powers by Rogue and became Binary during the X-Men brood arc. Monica Rambo was called Captain Marvel (the first female) in the Avengers and she never became Binary.

So far we have 616, 838, and the Fox Universe (now cannon?) which includes FF and Deadpool. We also have the myriad of timelines from SV, and Tobey/Andrew’s timelines.
Big jump to call Fox universe Canon for Disney. When they start Xmen proper they arent going to want to be tied to a bunch of old actors and actresses. They are going to want a franchise of several movies and probably much younger actors.

I like the movie. 8/10. A lot better than Love and Thunder. I don’t know why so many drag all the MCU movies down. If you don’t like it, stop watching. @@VegaMain the eternals are a very old comic book, and regardless of the names they were all represented basically as these perfect Caucasians lol. And I'm not saying that's historically accurate but that's what they were. Because I don't know how the movies really explain it but in the comic books they were superhumans created a long long time ago, and the idea was that they weren't even really humans so the idea of race wasn't even applicable. So when you see Kamal nanjiani playing one of the eternals that definitely feels like a conscious choice to play diversity
