I have 32 pegs on my loom 😮
This lady is the only loom knitter I follow, she explains everything so well
Love the idea of being able to make doilies on a knitting loom! So many uses for these pretty designs. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us, Denise! 🥰
Joanne thank YOU so much for the many ways you support me. 💛💛💛
Beautiful ❤thank you so much! You have given me ideas for gifts as well. I mean, who doesn’t love knitted/crocheted items? It’s such a lost art and I sincerely enjoyed teaching my students, boys and girls, hot to hand knit/crochet. They were so inspired by my projects I’d take to school to work on during lunch or “homework” periods at the end of the day. ❤Great work! Thank you for such great explanations and demos.
I bet if you did this with a thin cotton yarn it would make a pretty doily.
Denise, I had to tell you that I modified your no curl scarf pattern. I turned it into a runner for my coffee table. It turned out so well. Thanks for being so inspiring!! 🧶♥️
That is SUPER awesom Dawn. Remember that you can do that with ANY of my stitch patterns. You can't ever have too many runners - right. 😆
@@LoomaHatI would love a knitting tutorial for a toaster cover… 💁🏻♀️
Fabulous. I never even thought of this. My Granddaughter is watching everything I make & now she wants to learn. She’s 6 & always feeds me the yarn but now she wants me to make them With Her. Wish me Luck 🍀. Thanks Denise 🥰💜💐💋🎉
Well that makes me SUPER SUPER SUPER happy !!!! 😀Yea ! Please let me know how she's progressing ! Have you seen my first video with my 8 year old knitting friend? She's an adult now but she continues to knit for charity. Here's a link ruclips.net/video/Oqe36ghs-PU/видео.html

Jon , Oh my GOD 🥰💛🌼💛🥰💛 you’re tooooooOOOOooo sweet. Thank you for making my day.
Thank you for this video. Can this pattern be used to make a toilet paper cover(cover the toilet paper 🧻 fully) or just on the top of the paper? Great job 👍 well done.🇨🇦
hi there - You can make anything into a toilet paper cover but you would need to figure out the row count to close the top. I hope that makes sense. I have a toilet paper cover pattern. Here's a link ruclips.net/video/jTYFTyf6z9Y/видео.html
Thank you Denise, can i ask, if i make it smaller, will it look good to be a cup / mug coaster?
Cute
Thanks
Denise, do you have any doily patterns for cotton yarn?
This one. You can use any yarn you want. Cotton yarn will work work.
My loom has 40 pegs instead of 41. What, if any changes should be made to the pattern?
I know it may sound crazy but I don't recall the pattern perfectly anymore but I don't think an odd numbered loom is required so you should be able to work the pattern as is.
Can you use a smaller than worsted weight yarn for this? Someone gave me some finer yarn that I've been looking for projects to use it.
Also, would you suggest cotton if you make a smaller one as a doily coaster (since it probably will get dirty from use)?
Yes, you can use a thinner yarn - it will just look more lacey and you may need to add more rows to get the same size. I actually prefer cotton - but these were a request from my husband - who does most of the cooking and he did not want cotton.
Before making mine I pondered the choice between acrylic and cotton. I will be using mine between cast iron pans in a humid climate. I was concerned the Cotton would absorb and hold moisture between my pans and possibly cause rust. I figured the acrylic would provide air flow with no absortion.
I have a question that pattern can to 36 pegs ? Because I have round loom and 36 pegs
Yes, you can use the 36 but the pattern is different for every size loom. Different number of rows.
@@LoomaHat thank you reply me back. I will to my best
Do you have to steam it after you wash it?
Sometimes - yes. You can avoild that if you handwash and try the project flat. I haven't needed to wash any of mine yet.
24 peg loom please
Hi Casey - the pattern for the 24 peg loom project is in the written pattern loomahat.store/products/pot-protector
