Damn, I posted this comment so long ago. So much has changed in 6 years. I started watching Corey’s work in 2015 and I have learned so much. I still watch these videos nearly every day. @@mae88b.16 If you like a guy, you should try and spend more time with him face to face on a date, or if you're a long distance thing, videocall. Texting should never replace talking face to face while looking into each other's eyes and slowly getting lost in each other while hours fly like minutes

Corey is an inspiration for all walks of life. My son is 21 and recommended how book to him. Which I had the knowledge I do know at that age. I used to half of what he teaches when I was younger but was clueless about how to actually understand the full range of it all. I have read his book 12 times now and have been applying what he teaches. Some of it is natural but I have learned to go 2 steps forward and one step back. I’m 53 and it’s amazing how this works. He helped me with my last girlfriend who wasn’t worth the heartache. It was an eye opener. Now I’m attracting quality woman and I’ll forever be grateful. Thanks again Corey you are a true inspiration!!

I’ve read your book and watch a lot of your videos (would like to watch them all but I just discovered your work 6 months ago and there are just too many videos lol). I consider myself (so do women) to be a good looking guy. Tall, light, built, handsome etc. Women love me at first but then lose interest. I have to say....this is one of the most HELPFUL videos right here. The topic of “less is more” is a fundamental teaching of yours. Perhaps you could make a refresher course on this topic soon for viewers who haven’t seen this video yet. Believe me, as a follower of yours who has a lot of the problems these other guys do, this is one of your more important topics that you talk about (even though everything you teach is important lol).

Corey. You're the best. Simple high yield advice that works and no hint of misogyny or advocating to put on a fake persona. Just basic rules for competent dating. And if every guy did this, it's not like it would ruin the dating market, it would just make dating more straightforward and less of a headache for everyone involved. Both men and women should follow this pattern anyway because guys that are genuinely good catches are busy and don't have time to txt on the phone all day or waste time with women that have low interest.

Can you imagine have someone like Corey as your wingman? I am now doing that for some of my guy friends and it has helped tremendously and I have one buddy who has helped me as well. The bottom line in terms of living your life to the fullest possible fulfillment is to make great connections. Not only romantically but in our businesses, with our co-workers, and in our friendships.

I still find myself being unsure or losing confidence sometimes and your demeanor and presentation are awesome and confidence inspiring.
That cat analogy is so true!! I met this girl on an online dating site, asked her out, she gave me the let's go to know each other first reason then we texted for about a week straight (yeah, I know...) then she completely stopped texting me & it's been a week since I've heard anything from her.. women are strange lol. Once/if she reaches out, I'll make the definite date!

Online dating sucks anyway. There are too many women out there who use it for a quick ego boost. It's easier to see if you click with someone in real life.
I believe her attraction level for me initially was about an 8, she used to tell me good I looked, stroked my face whilst driving, always brushed past me making physical contact, called me constantly... I got completely sucked into it, she made me feel like a king. I fucked up so many times acting weak and even got friend zoned at one point, but managed to get out of it... before she pulled the plug several months later. Two weeks after ending it, she’s with another guy.

Update: she pulled away. I stayed strong in pain for a week. It was so hard. I focused on my goals. Hung out with my friends. Time passed and she talk to me more at work. I know she wanted to hang out tonight but didn’t wanna be too available. Made a date and she said when she gets her work schedule she will let me know. Things are going good so far

Great video! I've said it before, but the e-mail/case studies really help viewers connect the dots and apply those experiences to their own life stories. Also like the analogy/metahor of cats/women...perfect! I have been a viewer now for about 6 months, read the book 7 times and I'm not completely there yet, but making lots of progress. More importantly, I understand now what I have done wrong in past dating experiences with really hot women. Corey keeps saying it over and over...do NOT overpursue...and that was the biggest mistake that I was making.
If you are anxious and mess up the first time, she will take a stab at that over and over again - stay grounded. She will be back, I promise!

Thank you. I hope this works for women too, since I am a woman. I do get an icky feeling if a guy is clambering all over me about going out, meals, etc. I need a little space. Also I work with the public all week long and need a little alone time on the weekend to regroup.
I believe this is less to do w gender and more associated with inner dynamics. I'm a woman and I mostly attract cats. I exhibit the dating behavior you describe; not the men. ;-)

I'm in a situation where this girl is really enjoying my time. Some odd and uncomfortable situations have occurred so far but they didn't seem like a big deal...or were they? Well one was..I got extremely quiet on one date..another was at the club where we went together and her friend snapped a pic of us then posted it on social media which to me felt like..ok were just dating but that made us look like a couple. I've always tried to avoid over pursuing and spilling my guts but I tend to do it because I'm usually quiet and I want them to know me well enough to determine how they really feel but I see that is not the way.

Perhaps but anything that is female-specific on the surface may not apply if you are gay but *many* of Corey’s respondents are gay and many of the principles he teaches still apply. Especially about enforcing boundaries, maintaining self-respect, and *especially* maintaining walk away power (and mean it!) when someone is not treating you appropriately. I believe Corey is close to my age (I am 52) and much of what I learned over the years I had to learn the hard way (like he did) before I even read his book. I first read his book three years ago and this guy absolutely knows!!!! What is even better is that the advice and information is fresh and current. At 52, I can text and do selfies as good as any 22-year-old. But Corey is correct - the technology is only meant to be a tool to set up in-person interactions. People my age are much less self-absorbed but everything he teaches I have found to be right on.
I have read his book 8 times now and listened to it on audio 4 more. If I had sons, this would be *required* *reading* before they are out on their own embarking in a pretty crazy world. I do have two teenage daughters and much of his advice certainly applies to their friendships.

I think this is what im sorta going thru but a bit different maybe. Im not seeing some one new, ive recently reconnected with a highschool fling. Shes sending me mixed signals, at times she seems intrested others a bit distant. I also looked at your "going with the flow" video makes sense but who sets the pace? We hang out practically every day we live in the same neighborhood. Sometimes i ask to see her others she asks to see me. I catch her staring at me and she catches me aswell.
