Those prices are very good. I live in the Northeast (MA) and the prices are about 1.5K higher on the sport models and more on everything after that. I really like the new Sport trim. Thanks for the video
The CX-30 really needs a proper hybrid already. Idk why Mazda is so slow about doing this seeing as the CX-30 is their second best selling vehicle. I also wish that the upper trims like the turbo trims were Made in Hiroshima instead of Mexico
I'm starting to see more of these in the DMV. It's one of my favorite choices in the hatchback class behind the GR Corolla. I know they aren't direct competitors. Mazda should make a sporty hatch again.
Hey Good Pony! Always love your reviews. Just wanted to let you know that I saw on a video that there are rear charging ports, however, they're hidden inside the fold down armrest!😅 Pretty cool and concealed. Take care and keep it Gold 🪙
The CX5 rides much better, has better visibility , and is tuned to be much quicker off the line. The CX% has a independent rear suspension. CX30 has a torsion beam. You can feel the difference. You also sit lower in the CX30 due to high door line. I felt higher in the CX5.
The dral in canada is even better. The base has the heated seats etc and comes in at 28 Canadian. (22 US). IVE HAD MINE FOR 13000 MILES in 6 months. My commute is 75 miles each way. Over a mountain pass, some snow and a lit of rain this year. Drives like a sports car. Iy is cramped in the back.
Great review. A bit overwhelming as there are too many models and the best "bells and whistles" are on the top trims. I despise the non-touch infotainment system however.
Great review as always, but the infotainment system in the CX-30 is a joke in 2024 where touchscreen infotainment is widespread among auto brands and the rotary knob/dial is lame, takes time to learn especially for each new driver in the CX-30. Mazda put a fully functional touchscreen infotainment in your vehicle lineups otherwise it's a quick pass for myself.........
I’ve had a Mazda 3 with the infotainment system for the last 6 years. It’s great and it literally takes 5 drives to completely master. I don’t even need to look - the dial is right there at my finger tips. When I drive other cars I’m constantly realizing I have to take my eyes off the road and look at the screen because my fingers have reached for the command knob or the volume/mute knob but they’re not there. Honestly, if you gave it a try you’d see the touch screen is completely unnecessary
Shame, Goldpony .You are missing the elephant in the room...the plastic body and wheel well trim looks ridiculous. Its one third of the car. Jeez, It even makes a Subaru look good.
I just got mines 5 days ago and it’s going so far! got the 2024 select sport. Has a luxury feel inside.
I got mine yesterday
@@keeoncollier9533how is the sound on the regular speaker system ?
How much did you get it for?

I have a 2022 CX5 and I prefer the infotainment center dial. This is the first review that didn’t mention the blind spots and narrow rear viewing.
Hopefully soon, I will be able to afford this.
Fantastic review as usual. You piqued my interest in this vehicle.
Great review.
If you had a long charging cord they can plug device into port in center console.
That's exactly what I do for longer trips with the kids.
Great enthusiasm 👏 thanks for the review
Thanks for the great review! Like this car.

Mazda doesn't even sell pickup trucks in North America and yourself wants a hybrid CX-30 won't happen Mazda is a slow innovative auto brand........
I have a similar bias but no data support the JDM begging better
They are planning hybrid version for 2025/2026, using Toyota hybrid system.

It’s a great looking affordable Crossover and the specs are excellent, the only thing I don’t like is the heads up display on the dash.
I like the select sport, but I need heated seats.
Great vid thanks! Subbed.
Appreciate it! 🙏
Great review. How does the cx30 compare to the cx5, as far as value? I know the cx5 is bigger.
It’s very similar

Rides on exactly the same platform. Same car mechanically.
For 26k years ago I buy sports toyota with premium speakers sunroof fog lights all spoilers around. Today you can buy basic cx30 made in Mexico

No longer starts under $25K for 2024. It's $24,995 + Doc fee. So at least $26K MSRP or at least $25K after dealer incentive/rebate.
What is the ground clearance on this car?
8 inches
You are comparing a crossover to a car so it just depends what you want personally I like my CX 30.

was really about to purchase a Mazda then I noticed the phenomenal gas mileage of a Toyotacamryhybrid and how inexpensive they are
Initial punch I do agree with. But the hype about the steering I don't get. It's nothing special, slow and needlessly heavy.

Fortunately you are one of the three people in the USA that feel that way. Take the time, take all the time you need to learn new things.
@@cgmiddle The infotainment sucks!! Many people agree!. Its' a deal breaker for many!
It’s a dial opposed to a touchscreen. Who cares. It is a car not a video game.

The main flaws of the CX30, lack of rear legroom and cargo space! And the damn ugly plastic cladding and dated infotainment. system.
No touch screen suck
