4:09 Ok Justin and everyone, I want you to read this full please. She's not nervous. She's emotional. She's Hani, her group mate from EXID. Their group didn't get enough attention because they were from a small company. Originally debuted as a 6 member group (with Solji being their vocal coach), the group had to struggle a lot. The 3 original members left eventually which left EXID with just 3 members (Hani, Jeonghwa and LE). Then Hyelin was added and Hani asked Solji, their then vocal coach to come join them. Hyelin from EXID could also easily be a main vocal and LE is probably one of the best female idol rappers. Hani can also sing, she has a tone suited for soul/r&b and Jeonghwa who used to be their weakest vocalist improved so much that she was able to participate on King of Masked Singer (well the 5 members participated on the show receiving a positive response)

Solji is really talented. I am singing too and I always dreamed of becoming a singer. I learned sooo much when I was trying to sing like her. Exid was one of the first kpop bands I listened too. I've listened to them since 2012 and to this day I can't get used to the fact how she can be such a good singer. There are not so many good vocalists in kpop.

Before the era that they were not so popular, they just got too much struggle. That's the reason why she is crying, those tears are proud and confidence.
All of EXID are exceptional performers! Hani has a beautiful jazz voice when she's allowed to use it smh idol pop voice limiting her tone. Hyeri has very beautiful clean voice too, she covered Soljis lines when she was taking a break! Jeongwha doesn't have such a strong voice, she's more soft and breathy but also has a unique tone. LE is one of the only female idol rappers that was an underground rapper before she entering kpop and she writes a lot of their songs. All members of EXID, including LE the rapper, have performed on Masked Singer to showcase their talents~

If you are looking for more great lives of hers, she absolutely dominated the competition show King of Masked Singer for months, and all the performances are on RUclips in full. It is a live singing competition, warts and all. All of her performances are absolutely devastating on that show ("Papa" is not my fave but all the others had me running out of the room, especially "Dream Lover", haha). As someone with a thyroid issue myself, her struggle causes me to respect her even more. I feel that after her surgery and hiatus, her voice is even more emotional and soulful.

Before the era that they were not so popular, they just got too much struggle. That's the reason why she is crying, those tears are proud and confidence.
All of EXID are exceptional performers! Hani has a beautiful jazz voice when she's allowed to use it smh idol pop voice limiting her tone. Hyeri has very beautiful clean voice too, she covered Soljis lines when she was taking a break! Jeongwha doesn't have such a strong voice, she's more soft and breathy but also has a unique tone. LE is one of the only female idol rappers that was an underground rapper before she entering kpop and she writes a lot of their songs. All members of EXID, including LE the rapper, have performed on Masked Singer to showcase their talents~

She is on RUclips now! Soul_G! If you are looking for more great lives of hers, she absolutely dominated the competition show King of Masked Singer for months, and all the performances are on RUclips in full. It is a live singing competition, warts and all. All of her performances are absolutely devastating on that show ("Papa" is not my fave but all the others had me running out of the room, especially "Dream Lover", haha). As someone with a thyroid issue myself, her struggle causes me to respect her even more. I feel that after her surgery and hiatus, her voice is even more emotional and soulful.
I still find it surreal that Solji went from being EXID's vocal coach to theur main vocalist. She blendes with the group seamlessly!
