Well, I’m proud that OU is a member of the best conference in the country, the SEC! We are not up to full strength this year, but I wouldn’t trade our players for anybody else’s! Everyone we play will be in for a fight regardless and on any given day we will be successful! OU is OU. BOOM!
This year schedule alone will be harder on OU than on Texas. I am already sick of Texas fans talking smack. I think everyone is happy to have OU and Texas in the conf now. There will be years that Texas (no matter how good) will find it hard to manage the season. Welcome!!
I think OU can hold them under 30 and that should be enough to win. OU is getting back some key players from injuries so I don't think this is going to look like the same team from the first few games.

SEC is in fact different. I believe OU and Texas will do fine. BUT. .... there will be years though depending on their schedules either team could end up playing Bama, Florida, LSU, Ga, Tenn, Auburn, A&M, Miss and one other SEC team or even 2 more. Its not any particular game that gets you during the season its the schedule that takes its toll. Thats why IMO normally when an SEC team makes it to the playoffs or National Championship game they are ready more than others and they have a very high % win rate during those games. Remember its the schedule.......add to that you play at conf championship game and normally at least one top 20 out of conf game. Its nuts, its in the light of imagining playing Texas or Oklahoma 7 straight times during the season. Teams that do well are normally deep up front. It wears on you. IDK who will win this game I hope both play well and no one gets hurt.
