Oklahoma fans are the classiest fans I have encountered in person. Honestly, most of the SEC fan bases are when you actually see them at the games. But Norman is a top notch SEC town and I'm glad we came home with the W
Coach H's mom wanted to be at that game but she passed in May so it was a extremely emotional game for him. He almost broke during the post game speech to team. Well coach H, your mom was still there at the game watching..god bless...GBO
Man, I'm glad to have those OK guys as part of the SEC now. They will be a good addition to the best league. It was fun to see the crowd get into it, and that is what the SEC is all about. This Bluechip Breakdown is by far the best post game summary I've seen on this game, and I've watched a bunch. Thank you sir for your service to us, the viewer/fans!
I think most of the non-checks were dictated by Heupel to keep Nico out of harm's way. I think the way we called this game on offense was what this game needed.
Congrats to UT as a OU fan I know you criticized Josh heupel for not opening up the playbook more in the 2nd half but the truth is he was trying to protect Nico since he did get 2 stripped sacks. After OU defense adjusted from Thorntons Td reception Nico looked flustered but it also didn’t help that UT had 2 injuries on the oline and OU was getting a lot of pass rush. Josh heupel did a good job chewing out the clock and not risk any more unnecessary turnovers for Nico along with injuries since our field has been horrid this season and Josh knew that our offense was never going to be able to do anything
@@LittleRockVol we had terrible hot dry weather for weeks. I think we went like over a month without a drop of rain or something and our old groundskeeper got poached by some really fancy country club so we hired a bunch of new people to maintain the fields and I guess everyone still trying to figure everything out with that
I know Davis didn't play great, but he has given his all for 6 years, and he will be missed. Never was gonna be a star but plays everywhere on the line and gives his all!
OU had the long metal screw in cleats. They grew the field out and watered it down on purpose. To slow us down. Karma back fired and injured one of their best senior lineman. Almost took Campbell out. Disgusting sportsmanship. The field conditions is whole reason the offensive plays called for game was so conservative. CJH could not risk injuries to our players. So please praise Coach Heupe for that decision. He knew this game plan wasn’t flashy but is what was needed to complete the mission while keeping team health intact. I love CJH’s call. Let’s go get healed and rested for the next phase of this championship season. Also I hope they get Neyland stadiums field back together right after last nights Morgan Wallace concert. I can’t believe they took the whole field up forconcert during football season. I would’ve never agreed. But them boys know they stuff. Anyone else know they did that? Ok I’m done 😎✌🏻🧡🍊🏈
Honestly I hoped they would have gone all out, but this is still a great road win. I wonder if Josh Heupel is holding back the playbook and getting Nico ready for Alabama and Georgia? l look forward when he unleashes Nico. So what you gonna do when Nico goes Iamaleva on you (Bamma and Georgia)
Our defense is WWE level! Not ideal conditions last night with the field, left and right tackles out, and an away game, but we played hard everywhere we could. Bru was shedding tackles last night like they insulted his mama and Jaxson Moi was more pumped than a 50 cent gallon of gas. GB🍊!!!
We are used to Hurry Up from Heup, to see Ball Control as a major plan i think we were all confused. Its his first year where he has the horses to do it
The TE was lined up on the line of scrimmage, and the WR out to his left also was on the line of scrimmage. Because the TE was lined up inside of a WR on the same line, the TE was considered covered up and not an eligible receiver.
Pass protection was suspect cause both tackles out. Had to go to the run game to prevent anymore forced fumbles.... Heard be back, worried about Campbell... but yeah Russell did better. Their defense was on point we got alot of time to heal hopefull Campbell is not hurt bad. Don't think anybody else will show a better defense than us.
Man, Dane Davis was beat all night and did complicate issues for NIco. I also thoguht Nico made some Freshman mistakes that he will get. One, sliding too soon and with no one around him. Slid two yards shorts of a 1st down. We went 3 and out that series and would have continued on. A few runs he goes wide instead of in running the ball, right into coverage. I think he will look at that and say, man, if I took the in route, it's an easy first down. Nerves, 1st road start and against a ranked team at night with a very good defense. Very understandable. Plus on a field that looked wet and trashy. Impressive.
No disrespect to UT oline, they are dogs. But sometimes you run into bigger, badder dogs. I can't help but feel like people aren't understanding what they are seeing when watching OU up front, defensively. I really don't believe we will play another defense that good or deep up front, and UT still rushed for 150.
Bull!! Whoaa!Whoa!! We 4-0 with a bye week now. Our Defense Dominated OU and our offense did what was needed with both starting Tackles out, a bad field, point shaving officiating, and being on the road. Go Vols 🍊
That field sucked. Oklahoma needs to fix that because the way that field is now is going to cause alot of injuries. I mean players were losing there footing way to much. Im wandering if that was intentional with the way the field was prepared to slow us down

Phantom holding call on the nico scramble. Kuric hands where inside textbook blocking.
Squirrel dropped a beautiful ball.
Refs tried their best to steal it from us, but. It wasn't enough 😊😊
Christian Harrison played well last night. You know I've been rooting for him, I was happy he got the opportunity and made the most of it.

What exactly are the field issues? Lots of slipping last night, and it's been dry there with the heat, huh? Just curious.

@@spenceraxbot1261 I just hope no one gets hurt on it. It's not good for anyone - home or away team. Very dangerous.

That's true. He's our Swiss army knife! One tool, many jobs.
Great stuff! This defense is legit!
I tell you what bull that Jakobe Thomas hit got me fired up I love his play style
Awesome video Bull. I haven't rewatched the game yet. It was a great road win. GBO!
You’re defensive front 7 is awesome congrats vols

Props to sooner fans. True fanatics just as crazy as us. We both hate Texas and OU will be happy to have us be the real UT
Definitely happy GBO

We won the Flop Bowl! OU flopping every time we ran a play for a big gain to slow momentum!

I love it. If you wanna win the big one, you gotta do it by ball control, scoring and defense
Vols got a Bye week next week & Arkansas plays Texas A & M. Arkansas doesn't get their Bye week till after the Vols game ! Should help Vols
1st road win vs top 15 team since 06 snapped a 29 game losing streak just that its self is a great accomplishment in my opinion
We had a penalty for Illegal Touching, help me understand that
The TE was lined up on the line of scrimmage, and the WR out to his left also was on the line of scrimmage. Because the TE was lined up inside of a WR on the same line, the TE was considered covered up and not an eligible receiver.
It was ridiculous… basically just gave them a score…
@@chuckb1448 that’s called the “P Diddy”. If you touch, and it’s illegal: it’s a P Diddy.
Penalty tbd

Like i said when everyone was telling us to go drop the bag on a RB. Bishop is a dog. I just wish everyone trusted Heupel like i do

What’s up with Squirrel White? Running around and falls down/on skates!
Really worried about our Oline for Bama UGA and playoff. Thats our only weakness imo
Crompton said Heupel doesnt trust Nico. Think thats BS
I don't trust Crompton.
The brazzelle throw nico made was nico trying to draw PI. He even said something to those useless refs

@@ghettohey2388 Not intentional.....they just need a better field
Yeah, there's a comment from OU fan above. Said they'd had trouble with their field all year. But somebody is definitely going to get hurt.
Jackson looked lost though.....he made mistakes that you just can't make in one game. Hopefully, they'll figure it out this week.
Kobe Thomas layimgbthe hammer.
Carbi B with her wap flyover to soak the field.
I saw several missed second level blocking. Dane and Kuric, Kuric did play good just saw some second level misses that would habe opened it up
