If this is the worst thing going on in this town its definitely a great place to raise a family.
Mark Munoz except for the constant pool related floods and all the deaths they bring
Josef Stalin lmao
If this rocked the entire town
damn
I’d love to live here
@@ooka7705 actually no

This is the news now.
Wow.
Taylor Mallory yes bad contractors should be outed
LOL, yes, truly worthy of everyone's attention and time. An above-ground pool installed slightly incorrectly and the installer is "gasp" going to correct it in several months!
Bad consumers should be red flagged for other contractors too.
Taylor Mallory ....yeah...ever since Hillary Clinton LOST, everything is upside down
Better this news than, x amount of people were murdered and robbed again. Maybe this area doesn't habe much crime
Should that pool buckle under pressure, it would rise the sea level over 50 feet, wiping out 1/5 of the world's population.
josue4everyone hahahaha
josue4everyone you’re an ass!
Thanos would make 3 such
I’m way in Cali & I want my mommy
😂
"This pool is dangerous to be around... that's why we keep it filled and have floaters in it"
Haha
As they show pictures of her grandchildren in the pool... 🤦♂️
i was thinking the same thing.......
And stand on the side that's buckling.
If you dont keep water in it the liner turns into a solid and breaks
the hell is this on the news for? nobody cares about some cheap ass above ground pool slightly leaning
RayDLX hahh
then why the fuck are u watching this video, like dayum u care enough to the point u had to comment
It's on the news because they have segments to put ppl like that on blast for faulty work. These segments have been going on for years
Looooool
RayDLX
FACTS THANK YOU
Yep the kids would go about 5 feet untill they reach the fence. Thats super dangerous, better evacuate everything within 100 miles in that direction
stone tooth lol
stone tooth lol i know wtf actually it sounds like a hell of a fun ride too
Lol
stone tooth Lmfao RIGHT 😂😂
pool installtion guy should charge them for the free water slide they installed ^_-
If it breaks, she'll have a 25 second waterslide.
Y’all tried flex tape?
「Kumagawa」 they definitely should
A BIG HOLE
I sawed this boat in half.
That pool has some MAJOR DAMAGE
Not even flex tape can fix buckling metal sadly
They're really scraping the bottom of the barrel for this story.
Slow news day.
this is beyond that already
Really not "pool"?
Scraping the bottom of the pool you mean?
LMAO
So why haven't they drained the Damm thing?
41magfan Lmao. It would be hard but if they are this scared about it they should find a way lol!
Lol, I'll emty for the right price. Think 41 magnum would do the trick
OR if you're that concerned, just have someone else fix it and sue the original company.
Cali would pay dearly for that much water
Why are the steps down? rofl...
I like the fact that the inner sides have got fake stonework painted on them. Adds a real touch of class.
That's how they are made. So you can replace the lining. Suppose to be cheaper than in ground pool.
Aighhhtttt
DeShawn 'Dawg' BNBG you realize she’s the one that purchased the pool. They just installed it......
She went the cheap route. Now it shows
These pools a r e n t cheap, we own one and it cost $11,000, dont talk shit about things you know nothing about, the installer didn't do his job right, and has everyone ever heard of damn liner? You have to replace those on a pool if they're above ground.
Guy: "I wouldn't swim in it. "
Background: tube floating.
I was expecting the pool to be improperly grounded or something, not a dent in the side. Lame
Shadowsumbra
It's in level about five inches from one side to another from that distance it's alot it's not just a dent on top of that it's missing hardware do you listen when you listened to the video or just look at pics
Rick Jones still not worth a news story...
Rick Jones the thumbnail doesn't even show the dent so he obviously watched the video
Lol!
"she worries for the safety of her grandchildren". Then empty the pool fool
or put the ladder up...
pahuntnut You don't empty above ground pools...
You dont empty any pool, doing so will wreck your liner.
you empty the pool when the safety of your grandchildren is concerned. People first, material things second.
she was worriend about the safety of her grandchildren. Not her liner. Whats more important?
1:55 the news is so funny, "Stand over there and start walking this way towards the pool for a good shot".
The day this was published, 21 civilians in Mosul were executed by the Islamic State. The day before, 2 car bombings in Fallujah killed 8 and injured 20.
And in Florida, a middle-class woman wasn't happy with her new pool.
On a country invaded by MURDER ! That love to cheat , lie and steal !!
And in the other part of town, Karen didn't get her whoppers without cheese.
@Caleb Baggett Very shoking [sic].
@Caleb Baggett No, you're right - we should all sit around watching news stories about people in the US unhappy with their swimming pools. Because this stuff's just scandalous. Really, they should have put a trigger warning on this one... 🙄
The Middle East exploding isn't anything new, at least this pool story is entertaining
First world problems.
🙄
Iam Legend you sir are a legend
Wow who’d athunk?
Yeah, 1st world problems when young children drip out a pool at high speeds and crash into A STEEL WALL!

Hodgeknobbler I started laughing so hard at that
I’ve been in a pool that collapsed... it was fun..
Me too, 60 years ago, we made a whirlpool and the pool wall split, all the water went down the basement entrance and flooded the basement.
@@lichub omg
"Hopefully you can come see it when it looks good."
Lady, it's an above-ground pool. It will NEVER look good.
Oh please people. My pool wall collapsed and it was a fun ride. The water will rush out and thats it..... omg. Get over it.
Depending on the age. If a child is in there while it breaks, that child could get it's head slammed into part of the wall or go under. It doesn't take long for a little one to drown.
What about the fact that it will brake?
Harper Bowersox how is he a pussy he is gonna be the one who will survive that situation good luck to you if its soo fun
Would you be happy if your new car had the engine fall out of it 6 months after you bought it?
Cona Bish sounds like you live your life in a bubble wrapped box lmao 70s 80s and 90s there would have never been a report about it and I'm sure plenty of above ground pools had there issues and parents or grandparents if that worried probably shouldn't leave the infantile child in the pool with any adult supervision
Must have been a slow news day.
How
TF is this news?????
That what I'm saying lol
Looks like that pool is all *washed* up
Har har hae
No
Drain it if you are worried about it. It will stay safe until they get back out there. Odds are it will need to be drained anyway.
or put the ladder up...
The liner will shrink if you drain it and it dries out.
@@lichub thats what we want

In ‘87 we had an above ground pool installed in our yard. It was only 15’ across,
yet it too, started leaning toward the back fence, which is adjacent to the paved parking lot owned by the church.
Was likely due to the shifting of the ground and maybe improper ground preparations before it was installed
The pool remained intact way past its warranty and we never did have a flood, nor did the pool tip over.
Even though it was leaning so much to one side, you could visibly see where the wall was starting to buckle.
Anyhow, the pool itself was professionally installed by Trévi, one of the biggest pool and spa companies in Quebec
It was dismantled in 2011 or 2012 by my brother because no one was using it anymore and became too much to maintain on such a fixed budget
This saddens me that contractors take advantage of people thinking they will never find the mistake.
When i was 12 our pool ( that was slightly elevated behind the house) collapsed and i legit floated through the kitchen and halfway down the hallway. As soon as my mom got off the phone with the insurance company i asked her, since half the house was already trashed, could we refill the pool and do it again? She thought i was joking
EATSLEEPDRIVE2002 if it collapsed how could you do it again?
916OnMiNeZ because 12-year-old logic
EATSLEEPDRIVE2002 you should have called the national news!
Fun
🤣🤣🤣🤣👌
This is the only story i've actually enjoyed reading on youtube
In florida, should've gone with an inground, concrete pool, the only thing good about above ground pools is they are easier to take down when your sick of it
bleachinuri you already have a beach floods and hurricanes is that not enough water
HERPY DERPEDY
If you lived in Florida you'd realize you could have someone follow you with a fire truck spraying water on you and it's still not enough.
Thats because you spend to much time with the ac on 60. Go out get used to the heat.
I grew up in Florida with an above ground pool. We had it for a decade before moved. Never had a problem with it.
Jack Hack
Practical, maybe. Ugly, DEFINITELY.
The pool busting would be like the best ride ever, LOL!!
Above ground pools can be expensive (assuming the lady isn’t wealthy, like most of us aren’t); she has a reasonable expectation that her pool would be installed LEVEL.
Maybe her lazy husband and useless son, (son-in-law) should have put up the pool.
above ground pools are better. they tax the crap out of you just for having a in ground pool.
And the professional, "been doing this for decades" guy wanted to be on the news so he also thinks it's unsafe and will wipe out the whole neighborhood if it blows.
Bored.In.California lol true
Yeah except even the installers admit they'd have to fix it later
It is unsafe he knew exactly what he was doing measured the water to see how uneven the ground really was. We're talking about metal here stuff on the pool can easily cut you if this thing was to go down sounds like fun? More like a huge lawsuit
lol what? Did they throw in the spider webs and debris, too?
Bored.In.California yea, who would have thought a competing business would have bad things to say about his competitors 🤦♂️
The installer didn't say he wouldn't fix it, he said he'd come back in the winter (when the pool is normally drained), that thing is perfectly safe, would probably last a decade. Even in the event of failure while the grandkids were in the pool they'd be washed out onto the soft grass probably laughing their heads off with a story they'd have for the rest of their lives. Playing in the ankle deep surf on the beach is more dangerous.
lol christ fuck that. You pay for a service it should be done correctly. Simple
Metal fatigue like that increases exponentially with time. The metal is strongest in its initial form before being bent. The more bent it is, the easier it is to bend.
Ghost2Coast Kids would be slammed against the railing & could have serious injuries or 💀💀💀!!!*** wake 👆🆙up!!!
Kzero 👍YES YOU'RE 100% 👉👍RIGHT!!!
Ghost2Coast If you don’t have any issues with this, you are the ideal customer for a business! (Not sure where she lives in FL, but if southern FL, you don’t DRAIN the pool in the winter- it doesn’t freeze (even n. FL I’m sure they just lower the water level.) You’re falling for a total brush off!
When installing an above ground pool it is absolutely required that the area the pool will set be level and properly filled with sand which will support the pool and water weight without sinking. The sand base should only be under the pool liner and not beyond that footprint or the outside wall supports will sink into the sand and create havoc.
The pool: *slightly uneven*
Her: omg i dont want anyone in the pool
Taking Karening to new depths. 🤣
I'm hearing people call this woman a rich snob...wtf does that have to do with paying for a shitty job. She paid whatever she paid for the pool installers to come out and do a bullshit install... I see no compacted sand base nor did they build the pool with all the necessary hardware. The woman customer is a complete victim and should sue those crooks that attempted to rip her off....
ceedaddy kims husband over here^ 😂😂😂
Yes the pool was improperly installed. But there is no danger.
Danger or not she didn't pay to swim in a turd.....
+POV, then they should come back and fix their shitty install. Just because you guys roll over and take everything up the ass doesn't mean everybody else does. If I paid thousands for some bullshit pool and installers I'd expect it to be done correctly. This lady is 100% in the right.
Fuck that..you get what you pay for. Not like she spent $40k or 70k for an inground pool. She went the cheap route.....so what do you expect.
How does this make news, but when some kid got his thumb chopped off in the weight room at school doesn't make news
no one wanna see that shit
Call Humpty trumpty so he can write an executive order telling the pool not to collapse!! Lol
In 10 years that thing will still be sitting there full to the top of green water, and she will still be talking about how it was installed wrong🙄..
If it's unsafe then drain the water and take the pool down easy as that
I wanna ride the wave hell my pool is a tarp in the bed of my truck
Otter Sweet yeah it's runs away from any fat kids trying to hop in the pool !
It would be real fun to ride that wave
Mine did the same thing, one side was leaning and off by a few inches We used it for months with no problems. Same with a family friends pool. In my opinion it’s really not a huge deal, depending on how much it’s leaning, but should be fixed if possible. If it breaks, well that’s quite the ride whoever’s in it is going to take!
Remember back in 89, this same mistake, yes sir. Took out the whole neighborhood. My friends son was repairing a roof when the pool went, killed him in a matter of seconds. When ever I see a above ground pool I tell the owners it's a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. Even the kidie pools are enough to destroy a small house.
It's safe come on stop complaining
Guillermo g nigga have you heard of the condition of the fucking pool
Who cares if it breaks while you are in it a little waterfall ride never hurt anyone
Saberease Era through a jagged metal hole?
Tact1cal Banana No because they're 12.
Tact1cal Banana metal you mean plastic and you will be going over it not through it
Saberease Era you would to the through the hole and plastic is still sharp af
Saberease Era if put hole in a cup the water comes out not over
100 degrees...i am going for it man
You think that pool is leaning 😂😂 u should see ours lady
drain the water and fix it
Not an easy fix. Liner has to be destroyed as once the liner is out no way to be sure not to puncture a hole in it. So new liner needed $300 bucks. Plus maybe $600 or so in labor help to disasemble and reasemble. HASSLE......
I would have given anything to see the look on her childrens face when she told them they can't swim in the pool till it's fixed. #Total bummer dude 🏄🏊
This is on the news?
Good use of resources ! Great job I needed to hear about this
The so call professional pool guy need a measurement tape to see that the water level is low lmao
She hired the cheapest company she could find - looks good on her.
Exactly, you get what you pay for. Lol.
How did I get here 🤔smh I was watching how Kylie Jenner don’t know who the baby daddy is!😂
i got an ad on a news source talking about pool fences and i thought it was the video, till i saw i could skip the ad after watching it for 5 minutes
He said it's Totally Wet
go away
dude im so happy to see that one of your unfunny comments hasnt got 10k likes!!!
Your yard isn't level.. you took the risk!
Wow a competing pool guy says his competition is dangerous really good investigative work
Thanks for taking action for me! I didn’t know I was in danger.
I'm worried about that families safety. This has troubled and disturbed me for quite some time. I'm very worried and think about it at least once a day for over a year now. God bless them
I'm worried about your grammar. This has troubled and disturbed me for quite some time. I'm very worried and think about it at least once a day for over a minute now.
Actually, the grammar was fine
I’m worried about your wife
Ok I just looked and paused video and saw the tiny 3 inch line that is Buckled inward which is weird because usually it buckles outward. In any case that little shit is nothing to worry about.
I'm still trying to see where it's buckling 🥴😂😆😂 but I do wear glasses and I don't have them on
Whenever I set up the pool with my dad when I was a kid, we could never find all the screws and even if we did the pool would still lean on one side or the other. Though that never stopped me from swimming in it. Kind of surprised this made the news because the pool seems safe enough to me then again some people can be very overprotective.
*totally wet*
If I pay someone, that is supposed to know what they are doing, and the repair or installation is wrong,; it has to be fixed. Not in the winter time, now MOtherF. I don't care if the ground dropped or not, the installer should have anticipated this. Repaired it now so that the person that PAID can use it NOW. Whether you think this woman is a snob or not, she PAID for a job and the job was not done correctly. That is the crux of this video. Too many a-holes doing a job they should not be doing.
Renee Jewell so on your opinion these asshole fly by night contractors should be paid for doing sub par work ? What a dumb bitch. Smh
Happened to me and my step brother when we were swimming, he was underwater, side of pool collapsed and we got sucked out into the yard in a huge wave of water, it was sick.
I don't think it went swimmingly.
Get a real pool in the ground and your problems are solved.
Dr. Drake Ramoray ... that’s the Joey Tribiani answer for ya!

I’ve seen videos of people breaking pools on purpose to go for the ride lol

Shes worried its gonna collapse, its unsafe but that wacko stands 4 inches behind it. I'm 100% sure she got a great deal. You got what you paid for.
My grandma's above ground pool split while she was in it. 6 thousand gallons of water and my grandma went into the basement of her house and down tbe street. It was old. She had it before I was born and I was late 20s when it split. It was crazy.
Why is this news
kim fuller
*scared of pool*
1:24 his voice sounds like Mrs. Doubtfire's brother lol.
We had one of those Intex ring pools about 10+ years ago and if you know those pools, you know the ring has to be fully inflated in order for the water to stay in the pool. Well ours had a small leak in it, and my sister, friend, and I were swimming in it and all of a sudden, the water fell over the edge and started RUSHING out. Our backyard was pretty big and declined as you walked to the back fence. All of our floaties fell out and my sister, who was on an inner tube, almost did too. WE CRIED LAUGHING. It was hilarious and something we still talk about to this day.
Shouldn't have mentioned to the installer that you wanted a pool with a deep end and a shallow end!
e greenie it's a above ground pool
Rïçky C. Being that I can see that the sides of the pool are sticking up out of the ground about 5', I think its safe to say that I, along with the other 99.999% of people, including yourself, can definitely tell that it is an above ground pool. But in case I just happened to miss something, thanks for pointing it out.🙄
It's made of sheet metal you could get a very nasty injury if on the way out of the pool you slice yourself wide open remembering its kids inside
Stuart Goldup that's what I'm saying these fools have no clue how this thing is really made there are tons of sharp peaces.. I could just imagine what it looked like underneath with the cross supports etc. Terrible work to say the least
Nope....you would not. Walls will never sheer off like that and leave a sharp edge. Those walls will last for 20 years. Its brand new, not a rusted old pool
Do you make your kids sleep with their bike helmets on in case they fall out of bed ?
kids now a days are way too soft. A few scrapes and bruises will toughen them up.
Or given todays, kids more likely make them scared of pools for life. Either way life's lesson learnt.
Matt Lane did you read what I put nasty injury on the way out I said meaning when the Pool breaks you fool
Reporter: "Fears for her grand children"
*shows a picture of them in the pool
*When The Levee Breaks, we’ll have no place to stay*
What an ugly thing to put in your yard.
Well she wasn’t that ugly 30 years ago.
Her whole yard looks depressing
Thousands of dollars?
Jake Nothanks, I know right... go to big lots and buy a 300 dollar above ground unit... I think above ground is trashy any way.
Ryan Bitter an actual above ground pool is a couple of grand. They're ugly, yes, but they're actual pools...not those cheap ass pvc things available at walmart or big lots.
ROTAXD no it’s not, I googled and found that exact type of pool. The 18x36’ model is $799 delivered........ Hers doesn’t even look to be that big so it was probably a $400 - $500 pool.
My grandmas pool collapsed while I was in it. My aunt, cousin, and brother were also in it but on the other side of the pool where it did not collapse. I am extremely allergic to poison ivy (I get it worse than other people) and when it collapsed I was pushed out of the pool straight towards poison ivy on her fence. I stopped right before the poison ivy.
Edit- I was around 4-7 years.
Local news is so great. Such mundane stuff, it's quite charming.
this is action news?
This is the whitest story I’ve ever heard in my life
That “Florida does not require a license for the assembly of above ground pools” tells you everything you need to know.
Am I the only one who is curious about how it would feel to be in the pool when it spills out😂
