Wow what a brilliant video of a wonderfully preserved Tracline Metrobus sounding as good now as she did 32 years ago. Nice to hear the tinking/ticking sound of the indicator instead of that semi annoying beeping that was fitted in latter years. Driven as they should be, bringing back happy memories of riding metro's to and from school back in the 80's (83-87)
that noise of the handbrake brings back lots of memories of when i drove metrobuses in london
You drove one of these? You lucky, lucky person you!
@@PaddyMac 5 yrs driving mk1 metrobus

Same
Love the metrobus that soundtrack is my childhood in brierley hill in the 80s
For me, Aston - school in Erdington so I lived on these buses
Very modern compared with buses around the same time.
These always felt slow and detached when standing up front next to the driver, but hellfire fast when sitting on top of the engine at the back.
Hi mates many thanks glad you like it 😊
Awesome Video :)
Modern buses are so tuneless and bland......sign of the times I suppose.
Similar to the sound of dennis dragon in hong kong
Looks like Walsall to me, passing the Arboretum?
Yes it is he’s come down the Lichfield road and down to arboretum and then into hatherton street
I bet an oil pressure guage and transmission temperature guage wasn't on that spartan dash!
I was indulged as a Mercedes and MAN driver.
Needs to be demolition to this bus
