Great bit of nostalgia, I was 13 at the time in and out of Birmingham City centre. I always think how cool it would be to spot yourself in one of these videos lol. The old buses really bring it all back. The Grumble of the old engines and the squeeky breaks where really something else. Can you imagine that High Pitched squeek all the time now. Noise Pollution at its best 😂
Ah the 90s was my heyday. Went to city centre at least few times a month. It was lovely. Haven’t been now for at least 3 years. Dale end and the McDonald’s there has gone to the dogs.
Fab days, real nitty gritty days. I was a Birmingham bus driver in the days of Fleetlines, mk1 mk2 Metrobus's and the fab Lynx. I was typed trained on the Leyland national too, but never drove a national in service as they were soon withdrawn after i started in 1990. I was at acocks green for a few month then moved to Quinton bus garage when Quinton closed in June 1997 i moved to Yardley Wood garage until 2011.
Love the video mate but jeez all you hear from all those buses is screach screach screach, lol. Did they not know in the 90s how to oil brakes. And corporation street is just line after line of Buses. But awesome if you like buses and old pics of Brum ;-)
Can't believe I didn't see an X20 in there! £2.50 Would buy you an explorer ticket 🎫 which would take you on as many journeys as you wanted for the day! 😊 Happy times Good days 👍
I was 3 years old the longest I can remember back to was 94 95 the it all looked the same as it dose here then I remember going to the market with my mom good memories
I really loved the hustle and bustle of Birmingham back then, much better, real city feel.

Corparation Street was one of the best streets in Birmingham for photography with the mixture of nationals, lynxs, metrobuses and fleetlines

Ah the days before pedestrianisation and the Bullring (which has ripped the heart out of the city).

Oh the real city sounds, just like it should be, with traffic and buses everywhere!!
how about uploading a video with the 11 outer+ inner circle routes, viewing from the window, maybe from upstairs
Hi mate you ok? Yes that will be great I’d love that 😮😊
