Hello Grisha, I stumbled across this solar projection concept and I think it may be just the thing i needed to incorporate into a project being realized in the province of Mendoza in Argentina, I already have access to the solar projection that the Revit software produces me, my question is would it be possible to incorporate a solar calendar to this clock in order to indicate, at best, the months and seasons as well as the equinoxes and solstices? Its kind of important for the project given that it's concept is heavily related to wine brewery and wine making. What program are you using to produce the 3 model for the lines? I have the lines that Revit outputs but i am not able to select them, are you guys using EcoTec or simply drawing the lines by yourselves in 3dmax or just describing the function in matlab? i fear i might have to do a good ol' spline on Autocad for each hour/month and then import it back into Revit, which software are you guys using to do this? Also I was thinking into doing a radial distribution instead of a linear one, wouldn't that be cool?
Your on the right path, using a Flat surface but the sun does more of a circle with an infinity type loop and not the arch. Flat Earth crush had a couple videos demonstrating the path of the Sun
This is wild. Good job!
Where can i find a stl for that amazing sundial?
