How’s compression? That’s a decent amount of oil. The rev ups burn oil more frequently than the 03-04. More oil being consumed could point to other issues but all in all a very clean z
I love my Z ❤, keeping mine pampered so I can drive around on weekends over time when they are rare . My DE doesn’t burn 🔥 oil and I change it every 5k miles #Lucky only have 104k miles

I have an 05 35th anniversary z aswell doesn't burn oil. I've had it just over 2months and checked it every 2 weeks not burning at all. Has 114000km. I don't what thst is in miles
Please stop with the DE oil consumption bs. Old engine needs all new seals, gaskets, and probably most important an oil cooler. And FYI 3000 mile oil change intervals was common before synthetics became the norm.
Hi I have a 350z and I’m not sure if I have a broke valve cover gasket, I love cars and ik a fair amount but the symptoms that my car has is it smokes from behind the engine, has like a burning oil smell, not sure if those are the symptoms of a valve cover gasket leak so can anyone gimme a sec opinion

Had my 06 350Z for 10.5 years. It did not need oil between changes and I drove it hard. Now my daily is a 370Z, and I love it.

oil gallery gasket failure might contribute to burning oil, I know thats a common problem for 350z
