so many great bands he sung for Ace how long, here, and The living years from Mike and the mechanics, along with his own little solo career. I always liked his '80s poppy don't shed a tear. cool lesson 😎
Hi Dave, I have a guitar theory question if you could clarify This is to do with the EMin 7 chord. I can understand when playing the EMin 7 chord with the B note and with the D note , but what I don't get is when it's sometimes played with the E note added?? Or is it because as the shape is barred by the nut then it's easier to create the EMin shape first and add the high minor 7 note to get the full sound of this chord which is harder to do with say other barred Minor 7 shapes which only include the 5th and minor 7 note? Thankyou
Em7 will contain E G B D. You can play this open as E B D G D E, or E B E G D G , or E B D G D G , any variable that has these notes. Any note can be doubled up as long as you have all 4.
I've just got to memorize a few if these cbirds that I'm not familliar with and I should be playing along with ya In a few days..Thanks for the lesson
Another great one, Dave

Great stuff..translating to piano
Thanks for this, I've tried to work out a few squeeze songs and they never sound quite right ..... I think it's all those 'over' chords. :D
I had a roommate that worked with a vocalist that could do a pretty good job singing Squeeze songs. Great pipes! ( your guest is cute! )
Now I Finally like this song🤘👍😀
"Tempted by Squeeze"- title reminded me of an incident in a vegas strip club but this was surprisingly good as well

@@DavesGuitarChannelOk, I see what you mean, thankyou!
🎸🎸🎤👍👍👍❤
Good stuff, but one quick and minor correction: At 2:28 and 3:24, you're playing it right, but the chord name is wrong. It's a G over F, not F over G.
Thanks, it happens
Chord charts dude
Excellent lesson - thanks
