    Couldn't resist this on sale for $30 Canadian from Ali. Very plain but a joy to type on with the Akko Wine switches and Epomaker keycaps I added. Feels great with no added modding.

    the switches have a POM stem and not nylon, but nice to see a video on these types of keyboards. a lot of variety in that segment lately

    nice build! But i notice that keyboard isnt as deep like most gasket mounted keyboard so im abit concern with the keys may sound different near that area.Also, I wish an aluminum keyboard will sound this quiet. I mean using a KTT chalk or Boba u4t with this board, it will surely sound very deep and thocky i imagine.

      It is a fully plastic case so it won't really have a deep sound to it. The foam does help but I think some resin/silicon could make the case sound deeper. Thanks btw!

      @@nanodesu9031 I love the M1 tbh but it doesn't have a deep sound too, hmm best sounding would be the QK65 or Zoom65 but it's way more expensive. I would say go with the M1

      My intention is to highlight the price of the keyboard kit, not the whole build as people will always choose their own keycaps and switches. But the kit being $25 is correct.

    is there a possibility of applying the XHT-BDZ in the wrong place on the stabalizer? I heard it should only go on the wire? How do I make sure it goes only on the wire? Thanks

      Hey, tbh just make sure it covers the end of the wires, and it's fine if abit touches the stabs housing also

      It's not tho, all my keyboards are like this. Are u sure it's not you? ( It's called an inverted spacebar, better for gaming and long periods of typing, way more ergonomic)

      Hey thanks! Glad to be able to help. For the switches I recommend Akko V3 Cream Yellow switches, they come hand lubed. But without lubrication most Switches will sound scratchy

      Hey it depends on the seller, for me Keebs Project provides the mods with the keyboard you just have to install them yourself to how you prefer the keyboard to sound. But I have seen other sellers put them in first.

    Does plate foam make the keyboard clackier? Going for a clacky build and most likely gonna remove the included pe foam and Idk about the plate foam since I don't have any experience with them. Thanksss

    One of the best bang for buck budget board. Question, hows the flex? (I mean the case flex, due to it being plastic, some said that theres some flex case, so im a bit cautious bout this topic as it makes me feel that it wont be sturdy much to me.) Good one by the way! Loving the table setup.

      Thanks and yea plastic will flex a little it's normal tbh, overall still pretty good for $35. I wouldn't say it's bad. It's the same with other plastic keyboards

      Hi, any keycap set over 120pca should fit tbh.

      The syringe is pretty easy to use. It's the same method as using a brush, just apply where you would normally use brush to apply.

    a little confused on how to buy the switches. following the aliexpress link is that the price for one individual switch? if so how many do i need to buy? and for the keycaps are all keycaps compatible with those switches or do i need to find specific types to work with the switches and stuff etc

      You just need 67 switches, as the name GMK67 and the keycaps just get a full set with 120pcs and above should fit

      Hey, yea during wired mode it does charge the battery but it will stop once the battery is full. So it should be fine tbh, or u can just unplug the battery if you don't plan on using it much🤣

    should i get the gmk 67 or keychron v1? i feel like the gmk 67 looks cooler, and it feels like its smaller so im not sure what i should get. Sound is the main concern someone help me pls

      Well, the V1 is a 75% and GMK67 is 65%. But if your main concern is sound, I would say the GMK67 is more customizable but harder to open up. If you're new to this I suggest the Keychron V1

    Did u hand lube the jwk blacks or is it factory lubed?? Becuase if this is factory lubed, I don’t have to lube and it makes it easier + I’m new into the custom keyboard world so this keyboard is amazing in my choice for a starter and thx for the vid it was really helpful :) ( i found akko cream blue pros, and stock versions are rlly nice in terms of sound, in ur opp do i get The jwk or Akko cause they are same cost and rlly good, + I’m doing completely stock of both so yea idk what to buy as of now..😅

      Yes the switches were hand-lubed, but they also come slightly dry lubes from the factory. No worries man! I will suggest u go with akko switches, less hassle and goodluck with the build!

    hi there man, i just finished building my gmk67 but i face with a problem, when i plug the 2.4 usb to my pc and try turning it off, the screen is stuck on the loading page and it just keep spining and spining and wont shutdown, but its fine when i use the cable that they provide, it just only the 2.4 wireless usb, idk why this happen and idk how to fix it

      Honestly I'm not so sure what's the problem. Maybe you can try resetting the keyboard or download the software and see if it's an firmware update issue

    I have this board. main issue I have with it is when I switch from 2.4 to wired or vice versa there is a decent delay. Sometimes the 2.4 just will work and then just completely derps out and I have to switch it back to wired and back again to 2.4 for it to work properly again. Sound and modding are good.

      Maybe there's a problem with the receiver or PCB, you can try getting a replacement from where u bought it or if you have modded the keyboard, maybe try removing thicker materials/foam from the case
