Yes my baby is allergic to gluten...nd if not much as I m aware of the things but this video wasted my time..just watched it as it was written as 100% gluten free which shouldn't have been written.
TheVicdub yeah only if you don’t have gluten allergy But she said it’s a gluten free roti... so by dusting it with wheat flour it didn’t remain gluten free
I hope this works because there was someone else’s video that was absolutely not accurate or they lied about the ingredients and I ended up with a dough that was more like wet concrete than quinoa flour with water :(
Love the video, thought I'd give it a try but equal parts of water and flour definitely didn't work, the dough was nothing but a mush. I kept adding more and more flour until I had a dough looking consistency yet it was still sticky. even after resting for half an hour then kneading for many many minutes it was hard to roll. I wish these recipes could just turn out the way they look on the videos. Appreciate the effort though. Good day. ☘
You can make it by lughtly toasting quinoa, uncooked, and then grinding it in a spice grinder, and then sifting it and grinding it again until it turns into flour consistency
I put up in delhi ! And I recently came across this amazing and highly nutritious QUINOA but it's around 600/kg INR when bought in packets..pls tell me from where can I get loose quinoa in wholesale 🥺🥺pls

Nice recipe. How can we make quinoa flour? If we are making for ekadashi fasting, can we dip in quinoa flour only instead of whole wheat flour. Where can we buy that roti shape cutter?
I wiped whole quinoa with damp cloth and then dry roasted on a pan then i grind it into a mixie jar. For this recipe I just use quinoa flour and I didnt mix whole wheat flour. Yes surely u can dust it into quinoa flour but it will be little bit coarse in texture so i didnt use it but if u can manage then surely u can use. However I dont know wether we can eat quinoa in fasting or not. I got that cutter from india. If u dont hv this cutter thn u can use any bowl or small plate, anything which works best for u. Hope i answered all of your questions. Let me know if u have any query :) thank u
I “tried” making these today. I bought quinoa flour and followed the recipe exactly. Dough ended up way too sticky, I was not able to use it! Help, what did I do wrong?
The same thing happened to me it was like masa+water I just added more quinoa flour until it became plyable. It was still too soft to pick up so when I rolled them into balls I took the small ball of dough and pressed it into whole wheat flour then kind of kneeded/incorporated the dough with the whole wheat flour to add some gluten. Hopefully that helps. I think the brand that we used (I used Red Mill) might be too soft for the proportions of this receipe. Next time I will do 2:1 flour to water with this particular flour.
@@josiewilliams473 I actually want to test it using the techniques that people use to make corn tortillas using the softer dough. Maybe that can work as well to eliminate the use of the whole wheat.
I really enjoyed your video, but please change your title. For people who are unaware, using wheat flour for dusting, makes this recipe NOT gluten-free as many others have stated. I have Celiacs disease, and if somebody made this for me as you have it written, I would get very, very sick. Please change the title of your recipe, or change your recipe to dust the rotis in either rice or quinoa or some other non-wheat flour. Calling something gluten-free when it's not can be dangerous to someone's health. Thank you!
