The only reason why gasoline is not currently $8/gallon with all the wars going on in the world is directly because Oil corporations now know that people will switch to EVs in a split second. The US Taxpayer subsidizes the whole world’s Oil corporations directly with personal Security services courtesy the US Navy carrier groups. This hugely expensive socialism for the oil industry means massive profits and new mansions for oil company executives. The anti-EV crowd should be thanking EV buyers for directly keeping gas prices down low where they are right now. And they also should thank the socialism currently paid for by US taxpayers and the US Navy and other US Military involved with oil company personal security.

Its not there for fuel savings. It's to power the front wheels and give you extra power with the benefits of occasionally being able to drive in electric mode. Same as 918 and sf90
Love the Vette but feels like he went cheap on the seats. Not a fan of the GT1 seats when the GT2 and 3 are so much nicer.
I personally like the look of it better than the Z06. The spoiler is way better, the painted to match side vents instead of the ugly black ones that make the side of the car look like a fish opening its mouth. Obviously you can’t beat the sound of the Z but the E ray 100% looks better
Torque is what gets you going horsepower is what keeps you going…e ray seems cool for people that love new balance shoes…. Cool car even as a ford fan boy
I would actually love to see a twin turbo 1000hp+ E-Ray build
Wow that's beautiful🎉🎉
I want to see if Chev will do a Corvette ZL1
If you give the z06 with 650hp this electric motor...it would be like what 800hp? Then twin turbo it....and make what 1200? 1300?😮
and AWD too 🤠🤠🤠
Got to admit, the wheels on the
E-Ray looks sic on the roll!
@13:35 The E-Ray already beats that SVJ from lunch. It lost from rolling cause the weight and the less hp disadvantage. Imagine adding supercharger or turbos to the E-Ray. The SVJ will just play catch up all the time. Boost District already has a TT E-Ray that runs 1/4 miles with 9.7 secs.
I wanna see how it does in snow
Cool car. Go look at the Ioniq 5 N it has a cool engine somewhat fake engine note with paddles u can actually shift gears with
That tron style fake noise of the battery's when under power is stupid in my opinion it was cool for 30 seconds lol
E-Ray has lots of low down torque, but it’s no match for the SVJ’s top end.
For the average enthusiasts out there. The fun is from stop light to stop light. Not triple digit runs on an open highway or track. The E Ray really fills that need for speed and also keeps more money in your pocket at the same time. This car is the sweet spot most of us are looking for.
@@ppeller3 stop light to stop in the middle of town around other cars is dumb and irresponsible.
@@hpickettz34 ok Karen, don't get your panties in a bunch. It's a figure of speech.
Corvette EVOlution is almost going backwards. What gas engine is in the car? I’m sure there will be a huge market in the California, Oregon, Washington and other extreme states. I’ll stick with my old stuff. Lord help us all!!!
Wish we saw Andrew’s reaction to the GTR
The weird thing about the E-Ray it only has a 1.9kWh battery. Which is about 2x the capacity of an electric BICYCLE with pedals. It's really not an EV thus why it has the 6.2L LT2 V8. No clue why it would be anything like a EV. It even has 8 speed dual clutch transmission.
Can you use your e ray year round in cold weather climate and snow ! Enough said.
I can’t wait for an exhaust on them I wonder if it could ever be like the Caddy race car when it starts up while moving in electric
"Honestly, they are not my thing. I know nothing about them. I know they have a battery. "...........Holy giga Chad batman, how did some of these streamers become popular?
Great video. And man love watching those lambos race, usually know they don’t have it off the start but top end those cars got it. Just take off its amazing 💯💯🔥🔥
Quietest Corvette tunnel run👻
It’s…all….wheel…..drive…. In a vett!!!!! Why the hate
Because boomer mentality.
A centrifugal supercharger or twins would be a great mod for that eray. I think the Magnussen would be too much low end.
Chevy is smart with the charging whilst driving. Goes through tunnel. “WOW THAT WAS CRAZY! SOUNDS SO GOOD!” 😂
Chevy is late to the game. Acura nsx has been doing this for years. Same exact thing, hybrid with a engine for each tire. Acuras is actually still better because the engines give more power in corners when cornering hard which i don't think the e ray does.
You’re out of your mind if you don’t buy one and TT it! Perfect platform for your platform, I think.
The Mexico cut scene had me rolling
