Look at the history of WHY Notre Dame isn't in a conference. If you learn the WHY, then you would shut up about them joining a conference. Here is a hint, it was discrimination.
Notre Dame is the AP#3 team in the nation, and the 7th seed in the playoffs. The Irish have played 136 SEASONS as an independent (plus one Covid exception season in the ACC). This isn't the NCAA "Conferences" Playoffs, it'a the NCAA COLLEGE FOOTBALL Playoffs. Those who argue that Notre Dame should be forced to join a conference misunderstand both the history of the sport, and the reality that every NCAA member institution has the right to look after their own best self-interests.
The financial incentives for ND to remain independent is too great for them to even consider joining a conference right now. There is no way they’re going to give up all that money.
Louisville was 1 INT away from beat beating ND. They completely stopped the run. IU has a much better run defense and has a QB that makes good decisions and executes at a high level. The path is narrower for ND than most people are counting.
You did not watch that whole gm.. jus highlights huh.... IU defense is nowhere near TAMU.. at best its as good as lville..your best run team U faced was OSU #53.. ND is 10..not the same
@@JohnSimpson-sv6sqI mean Louisville held ND to fewer rushing yards (117) than TAMU (198). So it’s not clear what point you are hoping to make. ND is in for a rough night.
ND was 10- 14 it's ahead of Louisville for almost the whole game. Lou recovered the opening off and recovered a fumble on NDs 9. Did u watch the game? opbijg
@jeremyo168 like I said.. IU wasn't ready for ND Run gm.. & 27-3 with 4 mins left.. IU get td on back yps mostly..IU was dominated...not Fast enough, Deep enough or talented enough.. only they showed was their ass.. by their coach running his mouth.. how's it taste,Thanks for playin..
Ohio State lost to Oregon, Indiana lost to Ohio State, Penn State lost to Ohio State, Ohio State lost to Michigan, Michigan lost to Indiana. Oregon is the best team period and I'm an Indiana fan. What does OSU, PS. IU or MIch. win for playing those teams?
All these conferences are acting just like ND trying to extend their reach just look at BIG they are now on the west coast/east coast when they were just Midwest conference
JEREMYO-INDIANA PLAYED 8 TEAMS-LOSING RECORDS-9 TEAMS THEY PLAYED RUSHING OFFENSE 96TH OR WORSE-GIVE ME A BREAK-THEY BEAT ONE TEAM WINNING RECORD-MICHIGAN-WON BY 5……
"jOiN a CoNfErEnCe!" Typical annoying low-brow commentary. Before the Big Ten switched to 9 conference games, Notre Dame's typical schedule included Michigan State, Michigan, USC, Navy, Purdue, Pittsburgh, Stanford, and BC. That was their conference before they had to join the ACC and play 5 games a year. Now they get teams like Clemson, Florida State, Miami, BC, Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Stanford, etc. in there. WHAT CAN YOU DO, right? Then ND's schedule next year: Miami, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Boise State, USC, Navy, BC, NC State, Syracuse, Pitt, etc. Who cares if they play a conference championship? If they joined the ACC, then people would bitch they chose an easy road, etc. What it boils down to is that people like Rizzo don't like ND.
…not to mention that IUs sos is worse than NDs in probably the softest schedule in a decade for the Irish. ND has played 8 bowl teams whereas IU has played 4. So if you’re not in the SEC, save me the whole conference talk. There’s no other conference that absolutely provides a tougher schedule than what ND normally plays. The rest of the conferences are generally top heavy with a few mids and the rest scrubs
ND scores 35 and wins each of its 4 playoff games for the title
whenever someone says..."Hey Notre Dame, join a conference"...I say "Hey big baby, go independent like a real man"
ND proudly celebrating their Independence! 🎆 🎇 🧨
Yep, if others had a big enough brand, they would be independent, too. They ain't ND
💯%
IU is in the Big10 and their sos was worse than ND’s…ND has a abnormally soft schedule this year too
@@DaveIrish66Notre Dame’s last title was 1988

Notre Dame 27
Indiana 14
Freddie! You’re a legend…random ND fan
So as an " expert " he says Notre Dame will not just win but pull off a Oklahoma type win over ALABAMA? ALLOWING ONLY " 3 POINTS"??
ND38-20
ND HAS TO SCORE EARLY AND OFTEN AND IF SO WINS 42 - 9
GO IRISH !!! TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS !!! ☘☘☘🙏🙏🙏🍻🍻🍻🏆🏆🏆

@jeremyo168 LMFAO yah, how'd that work out for you.. I told .. they weren't ready for ND run game or the Defense..
Don't have a dog in this fight, but I'll take IU and 7.
Go Irish ☘️
I'm not.
Notre Dame lives rent free in rizzo head 😂 cry more buddy. you should know why notre dame isn’t in a conf and why they don’t need a conf.

Tf those losers in bloomington have to say now????
And Miami the U.. chickened out playing in Nov.. at last min.. thats why Army was scheduled.. bc the U is weak like tht!!
The snow storm will effect both teams. So, if ND loses, they can't use the snow as an excuse.

Wake up, Freddie! You're dreaming. Indiana's gonna win this game.
Indiana run defense going to get tested
Go Irish!
