A lot of people who "give" this apology just do it bc they feel backed into a corner and it's just a forced apology. Doesn't change that it's the most insincere and meaningless apology though. Whether it was meant to just be disingenuous or manipulative from a true narcissist, it was still meaningless.

#Biance, Hurtful? it was about the daughter being honest with her feelings. Was she suppose to not say how she felt? Hurtful or not, if the daughter said her mother was never a mother, then that's exactly what she was suppose to say. Even the mother said they were more like sisters The daughter obviously want her mother to act like a mother to her, instead of trying to be like a sister girl or one of her girlfriends. A parent need to stay in a parents place. That's the problem with a lot of mothers today. They'd rather act like their child's sister, and not the child's mother. I call that irresponsible and bad parenting. The mother just want to make money off of exploiting her booty in a thong, and she don't mind exploiting other women to get it. All money isn't good money. Back in the 60's, black women were highly respected, and the black family was out doing white families with being married, because the black family had a mother and father in the home. WTF HAPPENED? We need to get back to the old school traditional family values that they had in the 60's. I see this Buns and Basketball as being nothing but a place to exploit women bodies, and I'll never want any of the females in my family to ever be apart of such nasty ratchet filth.

They made me cry! I feel like they actually heard one another for the first time! You can hear the mother’s vernacular and understand that she didn’t have the most structured upbringing herself. That’s something she can’t help… but it’s also clear as day that she LOVES her daughter and would NEVER intentionally hurt her. She thought she was doing what was best because that’s something she SHE believes in.
Nobody is perfect. We ALL fuck up…
But it doesn’t mean there is no path to redemption. I felt the love and I’m so happy these two reconciled finally! This is my favorite episode to date❤
    Good luck ladies!
Thank you for being so transparent. You’ve touched more ppl than you know🥲

Plain and Simple, She wants Out! She’s not a quitter, she doesn’t want to do this. Let her move on. It’s time for her to be her own woman. After listening to the show, she loves everything except showing her body to the world. She wants a normal life. Not be exposed, not being called outside of her name. Mom, although you did all of this for your daughter, please respect her point of view and allow her to blossom in her own light.

I think she wants to be a good mom, but the daughter said herself she felt pimped out and like she wasn't being a mother to her. Maybe if she respects her daughter as an individual more and supports who she really is, then she will be a better mom. Unfortunately, the mom worships money and finds it hard to see why the daughter won't do anything to get it.

I had to learn that being a good provider to kids is not the same thing as being a good parent for kids. I have 5 sons, and each 1 requires a different measure of love. And they try their best to please us... even when they don't want to. We all just have to take a break and breathe to speak, hear, and listen. The children feel pressured, and parents feel unappreciated, and we all have to find balance. This segment had a beautiful beginning. The apology was overdue, and their love shows through their tears 🙏

Materialistic things when in reality children don’t care about that stuff. They need you to be there. Talk to them, understand what’s going in their lives. Hear them, love them, encouragement, kiss them often, tell them you love them more. That unconditional love can that can never be replaced!

I think there’s a lot to this story that hasn’t been fully unpackaged. I do want to know how old the daughter is, I’m curious as to how close the mom and daughter are in age. Because if sounds like they mentally grew up together. A lot of times when parents are raised In survival, they don’t think of the emotional aspect of it. I do truly believe that this mother did the best that she could in her mind because it sounds like she gave her daughter everything that she didn’t have. I definitely think they both need therapy because they’re probably both lacking emotionally. I feel for both the mom and daughter and I just pray they find healing and that the mother is truly listening to what her daughter is telling her.

She bonded with her daughter through her daughter playing basketball in a thong? Sounds to me like her daughter did it because she was desperate, that’s soul stealing and soul crushing..couldn’t she have supported her daughter and bonded with her through what she wanted, what her dreams were. Why would she even begin to think that this was the best way? It’s exploitation, damn near pimping! I hate parents that live vicariously through their children.
