Fiona Shaw is amazing in Killing Eve. She doesn’t get all the credit she deserves. She’s the boss lady for sure.

Fiona's a complete boss lady. I keep imagining her character as CEO of Tesla

The decision to shoot at real locations was such a smart one. Walking through these cities makes the unreal world of Villanelle very real suddenly. And you can always tell whether it's real or a green screen, honestly. Switching places in this show almost became a character their own, sort of.

Well I’m obsessed with the series. I’ve seen all 3 and never have I experienced so much fun, laughed so hard, felt so emotional toward each of the characters. Loved Caroline (Fiona Shaw) with that undercurrent of brooding yet nonsensical inner knowing of what she is about and apologizes to no one except to her daughter superficially. Villanelle (Jodie Comer) is magical with her timing, wit, extraordinary delivery and command that she has in each of her scenes. I loved Constantine. His big eyes and robust laughter but sinister route yet I love him still. Sandra Oh creates the backdrop and contrast to Villanelle that really brings her to life. I applaud all of you. Writers, sets, music, locations. OMG superb experience and a different one from those I’ve seen. Thank you so much. Hungry for Season 4🙏🏻

We'd all love to see those bloopers, especially the one of Jodie morphing into "20 different characters in 10 seconds." It's good to know Suzanne Heathcote is backed by exciting new talent, but worrying that finding the comic in dark situations is turning into such a self-conscious exercise. Something that was so natural and spontaneous in Phoebe's writing became strained and formulaic at times in S2, and could do so again.

I've read all three of Luke Jennings "Killing Eve" novellas and I love how the show has not been straight-jacketed into following Luke's story line goose-step style plus choosing to interject humor into a show about a psychopathic killer ... in my book it puts "Killing Eve" into that exalted pantheon of "The Sopranos" & "Breaking Bad" where you find yourself liking a Mafia Don and a Major Meth manufacturer ... Kudos to the entire cast of actors, writers & other team members that made it all possible ... Bart

S1 has more plot, S2 is more on characters with less plot. S2 is character development, emphasizing on Villanelle’s. S4, I hope will have deeper and witty plots. It would be great to put aside fan fiction.

S1 was brilliant but S2 was all over the place in its writing. There were still some great moments and lots of great acting in S2 but it missed Phoebe Waller-bridge's wit and creativity. Phoebe certainly would not have written such a flat ending to S2. Her writing in S1 got the balance right between light and dark. S1 was more fun and quirky. I hope the writer for S3 will do a better job than the writer of S2. Unfortunately any writers following on after Phoebe Waller-Bridge's S1 will have a hard job on their hands.

One of my biggest complaints about season 2 was E&V's interactions in scenes together relying on the sexual tension, the on screen chemistry and tremendous talents of leading ladies to convey their thoughts and feelings using facial expressions and body language. As a result we get no insight into Eve and Villanelle's conflicting ethics, worldviews and values which are the key ingredients for protagonist/antagonist relations. Instead we have them talking in circles, addressing their issues on a surface level, sweeping them under the carpet with minimal insight, no mirrors held to either party or cross examination for the sake of plot. One could be forgiven for forgetting why E&V are sworn enemies as well as unlikely allies/would be star-crossed lovers who complement each other. Knowing this was deliberate has doubled the let down.

Much to admire of course, but if I had to muster a couple of grumbles ... I'd firstly concur with other comments here that Season 2 (axe-killing scene aside) did fall flat during the last 2-3 episodes. Gone was much of the show's unique, quirky nature and the final scene itself felt awkwardly abrupt and unconvincing. Secondly, I would implore the makers to give Eve a few more glamorous, or defiantly fabulous moments in Villanelle's presence. Eve looks nervous, stressed, scared, or washed up almost all of the time and consequently, it seems hardly credible that she would be the object of Villanelle's desires. I can see how one might develop a curious fascination with one's pursuer, but that is altogether different. Not just a personal opinion ... this is the most commonly voiced feedback that I get from others who watch.
