  • In this video we service a Kubota RTV X1100C. This means we do an oil change on the Kubota RTV X1100C. This is an easy step by step process explained in detail in this video. It requires about a gallon of oil and the oil filter. We used a Purolator PL14610 oil filter, and Rotella 5w-40 for the oil. If you enjoy(ed) this video please like, comment and subscribe. Thanks! And yes it is very dumb that there isn’t better access but overall the utility vehicle is the best we’ve ever had!!

I just inherited a RTV X1100C with 330 hours on it, I seriously doubt the oil has ever been changed.... Wish I had that done when I took it to the shop to get the injectors cleaned, when I got it, the fuel tank was full of bugs, hay leaves, and dirt....
what are the negative results if you leave those two Shields OFF ??
My acreage is just level lawn, not a rough and tumble farm like it came from.

Those shields are to stop stuff from getting up in your engine and breaking things if you have level lawn you could probably get away with out the but that’s a do it at your own risk kinda thing

Where does the oil go if you put it in through the dipstick hole? Accidentally did this and idk where the oil went cause I tried to drain the almost 4 quarts back out and nothing came out 🤦‍♂️

It would be near impossible to pour oil in the engine dipstick tube. More likely it was the hydro ?

Do you know how to flush out the hydraulic oil? Is it safe to use other hydraulic oil because I don’t have Kubota oil only available was chevron hydraulic oil. And wondering if I can use it or how to flush it out?
