You've opened my eyes... ears to the importance of what you call micro-timing. It makes the rhythms so much more interesting and engaging. Awesome!
Thank you
I love how you break this down. It makes it so much easier to follow.
You are so right about trying to not go too fast ...... patience, patience!!
Please more cajon vids when you have time.
Thank you
Good video thumbs up
Thank YOU!!!!! This is a huge help to me.
You’re welcome
How does one double time this? You made it look very easy. I got the single time... that double tho...
I recently purchased a Meinl cajon. I'm not finding a lot of info regarding its care, however. I know, for example, that I wouldn't want to let rain hit my djembe's natural skin head. Would my cajon be safe in the rain? Do you have any other tips regarding caring for the instrument?
Lana Gramlich No, your cajon isn’t safe in the rain. It’s wood so you’d get the same damage as if you Acoustic guitar on the rain or any type of moisture. In addition intense heat isn’t good for it either for itd warp and break the wood. For care, keep in air conditioned place and as far as transportation, get a cajon bag so it won’t get broke or scratched.
I played the cajon in rain, it seems not damaged yet. But someone holds an umbrella over me.
Hello This guy @Juyal Beats posted an impossible cajon solo is it really impossible if not how hard is it?I am asking this question from some cajon players
what is your metronome at?
i'd say 90bpm
on trick for that: take a watch, get the timing of the seconds. think of them as eigth notes. no split dem in half -> 30bpm. no make them triplets -> 90bpm.
or get a metronome/app with tap-function :D
is cajon better or drums
is car better or train?
Seriously, how do you play with a ring on?
It’s not an issue, although it can be for some.
