Five excellent tips Harry on how to be proficient with the irons! I feel that I pay attention to most of the five; however, once in a while something goes awry!!! Either I didn't stay centered with my sternum or I didn't get my right hip and shoulder back far enough to create a sufficient backswing! I'm always conscientious about my wrists and forearms; and, my swing is on an in to out path, so I don't hit too many "foul balls!" I do have to admit though that I have to work on my calibration more because of these swing changes! Well Done Harry!! Keep up the good work!!!

Thank you John, much appreciated as always, yes these are very easy to remember but also very easy to start doing the poor version as opposed to the correct version for the golf swing. Thanks again, I’ll keep it up!

Hi Harry, thanks for the video, I’ve been struggling with a slice and the odd hook left. I’ve been really exaggerating the turn and rotation into the backswing but I am finding totally mixed results. Doesn’t feel like it’s makes things any better for my golf, please help!

I do the drill turning with the alighment stick and make sure my right hip turns away from the ball, but I notice that most of my weight is still on my left leg. What Am I doing wrong?

It’ll be you swaying slightly with your hips to the side to try and set the club in position, rather than worrying about the weight transfer.
Focus on the feeling of the shoulders (lead shoulder down, trail shoulder up) if you’re still struggling send me your swing over on Skillest

Not good at present , used to play off 18 but last couple of years gone up to 24 ! Now in 70s loosing distance tried some lessons not really improved. Woods usually hit quite well , middle irons seem same distance

I understand the feeling, sometimes golf can be hard as the handicap starts creeping up, you lose distance, and you struggle to keep/maintain the swing you have. Well I'm here to help, and I understand lessons can be off-putting if you haven't had the greatest of success from them but if you're looking for another pair of eyes. I'm on Skillest, follow me and send your swing if you ever decide to give them another go. All the best for your golf and if there's anything you'd like me to cover on this youtube channel. Do let me know! Cheers,
