I like your idea of tacking the zipper down around the curved corners, so much easier to stitch on the machine after. Great video!
This is perfect for a makeup travel bag. A place for brushes pencils and tubes and small palettes and bottles inside. It’s awesome
This would also be an AMAZING make up travel bag where you could store your make up brushes in the "pen" side. I would probably make it slightly bigger so it could fit an eye shadow palette.
I'm adapting this pattern for a toiletry bag and cross body purse. Increasing the hight and adding D rings onto the middle section, with foam inserts for structure.

I've been looking for a tutorial on a pencil case like this! So glad I found one 😭!!
Absolutely loved this. So easy to follow step by step! I made my first one and it turned out pretty ok! I would add 1" to the zipper tapes next time because I really really struggled fitting them around evenly but I think it's because I used vinyl as an exterior and also continuous zipper tape (not pre cut like in the tutorial). Willmsee how I go the second time! Thank you for sharing your video!! 🤩🤩🤩
