You need to distribute it eventually throughout your hair and massage it in. You also need to use plenty of water because it’s really thick. It came out beautifully though😍 add some styling gel for extra hold & definition, and then argon oil to seal in the moisture and your curls will be EXTRA lavish 🔥🔥🔥

I bought this product for my son's hair. He has mixed hair and it makes his curls really defined. But it only works for him on freshly washed wet hair. When it dried the curls are still perfect all day. He likes the hold it gives. My only problem is the price where we live. Almost $40 for the large container.

If your hair is dry and thin it might be damaged. Try to focus more on buying products that are for moisturising rather than curling products as curling products have chemicals that can damage your hair more.

We have similar hair type, down to the soft baby hair at the nape. Cantù is not designed to rake thru our hair. I’ve done it and my hair just shrink back to Afro like I did nothing! You would have had better definition with the finger coils you started 😊
I use it but in conjuction with other products. Otherwise its a bit too oily. So have used this with a holding mouse such as pantelleria. Then I ve done bantu knots over night and got a decent curl for the next day. Have to regulate how much otherwise its,a bit to lank and oily . U should try the cantu...define and shine custard...with the coconut curling cream Edit: one thing I don't like about cantu is u have to wash or have clean hair Everytime u wanna apply the product... If ur that person who wash ur hair two times a month..with Cantu its every damn week
I love this stuff. The only thing is you have to be soo careful with your curls till it dries. But I find it has amazing hold once dried. That being said, my hair texture is different to yours as I'm mixed.

Hey dear, to be honest I can't give you a straight answer to that. Because every hair is different. For some it takes atleast three to six months to start see real change. For other, it may take a full year before you're completely chemical free. For me I was always bald-headed, that's where I started from. Hope this help.

This works well for me on very wet hair. The wetter the better and it will take less product. Curls last up to three days.
Agree I wet my so its just moist then use the cream, and I reapeat during the week if I have to, to make it last for couple of days👍

I use it but mixed it with Chebe Butter and Amla oil , result, a creamy and wonderful butter and today I just created a fluffy butter to use every day
All I use is Cantu products and right after the shampoo I use Curl Max once or twice and it leaves my hair curly and soft.

If your 'Low Porosity', that it took a while to absorb the product is probably normal for your hair type. Hot water may have helped.
