If the a pillar is straight all the way down then the panel gaps should be the same as before nose replacement. Door alignment is a 2 person job and sometimes it requires 1mm packers between hinge and frame.
Nice job! Was that a klokkerholm panel? I totally agree Epoxy is all you need, and some rust preventative in the tough to reach areas. I am going to order the WolfsBurgWest nose when it comes time to do my 68 double cab. I also heard that 3M/SEM panel adhesive is good for the nose to seal the folded areas as well.
This panel has been in storage for a while and I'm not sure of brand but I think it is a cheap one. If you can afford the better quality panels it will make it easier to fit.
Great work. 👍
Watching with interest very good guys and thanks 👍
Great video, in fact all your videos are extremely informative and as I am picking up a bus next week, I reckon I’ll be needing them 🤣

Another quality video & good job done, any secrets or tips to line up the doors after installing the panel ?

How much cms do you put in between so the windshield can fit?
Hi Thomas we usually try and line up with inner support panel. If both are being replaced we measure one of the good kombis .
