Wood Shed Build - Gathering resources for our new Wood Shed

Back up to our remote property this weekend to start our next project. A firewood storage shed. With gas prices going the way they are we will all be using wood for our winter heating soon.

👍 I slather on some burnt motor oil mixed with diesel on the in-ground section of posts. The shed looks fine for what it's for.

Exactely what we do with harvested wood from our property for projects; have an old 44 gal drum, dump used oil & splash of diesel in (make it about 600mm deep of oil/diesel mix), and let the posts sit for a week in the mix.

You are so right about design flaw with those beautiful trees. I suppose the termites need food too. The kangaroo was such a treat to see. In the US, we hunt deer, bear, wild boar, do people there hunt Kangaroo for food? Hope you are doing well, my best to you and the family. Blessings always, g.
