@@johnnyappleseed5029 God reached down and saved us out of our filth by his mercy. While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Isaiah spoke of a people who lived in sin and yet performed the religious acts of the law. Those acts were filthy rags to God because they were not done in purity of heart but as religious while the people remained in sin and rebellion (read Isaiah 1 how God hated their religious worship and even their prayers because they had not really turned from sin). But as for those who have truly repented and been made new through faith in Jesus God says that their righteous acts are actually 'Fine Linen'. Those acts are pleasing to God and precious in His sight. "Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear. - Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God's holy people." Revelation 19:8 I only say this because every child wants to know He can make his father proud and that His Father is pleased with him. (Joshua, your acts now in Jesus are pleasing your Father and precious in his sight!) It can be discouraging to think that if you take up your cross and live to please Christ that even everything you are doing for the Lord is just filthy rags. That is not true. God rejoices in the works of His children and they are a sweet aroma in His nostrils. Peace in Him - Mike

I'm 39, a direct product of the Jesus People Movement. My dad was a philosophical revolutionary who got saved in 1970 because a brand new convert with a hippie van stopped to witness to my dad and his friends. My dad's friend had a broken collar bone and he.got healed that night. My dad got saved a few nights later. Before they had kids, someone prophesied that they'd have 3 Samuels- 3 sons dedicated to God... Praise God, I'm that 3rd son, a prodigal until about 3 years ago actually. God is good. I've been fascinated by Christian hippies and prophesy most of my life. I'm just now learning how to take up my cross daily. Continuing to abide in Christ based on faith not feelings. Maranatha!

Jesus said, "I tell you the truth no one will see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me." For God so loved the world that He give His only Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but will have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the World through Him. For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord, and All who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. " If you want to be sure of Heaven and avoid the other place below say the following prayer sincerely from your heart." Lord Jesus I repent and am sorry for my sins forgive me. I forgive all who have offended me. Come into my heart and save me. I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and baptise me with your Holy Spirit. Fulfill your plan and purpose in my life. "I recommend you read John's Gospel especially chapter 3.Gbu.John 3v3v22,John 14v6.

I know it’s a popular rumour but Lonnie, his brother and two of his long-term room mates have all said Lonnie never lived a gay lifestyle. He was repeatedly molested as a child by a male babysitter, raped twice in the late 80s by men with criminal records who were likely to be HIV positive and has confessed and repented that he occasionally fell into homosexual sin, apparently triggered by his childhood sexual abuse). But he never followed a gay lifestyle or identified as gay and he did repent of his few occasions of sexual sin ruclips.net/video/q0isnBQEeZU/видео.html
I never met Lonnie but it upsets me to see people who call themselves Christian spreading false gossip about a brother in Christ and thinking they are not committing serious sins. See what the Bible says about gossip and slander.

I have been in churches in which the pastor will have everyone bow their heads and close their eyes for people to accept Christ. They will say , Now with every head bowed and every eye closed whoever wants to accept Christ raise your hand. It seems as though it is being made out as something to be ashamed of and that nobody else can witness you coming to Christ not even in a church. Its actually pretty sad

Its ironic that my family was vehemently anti Christian during the Jesus s movement. We mocked them and laughed at them. We lived in HB and would see them and we were rude and crude. I joined the Navy near the end of Nam. In 1979 when I was out a guy in college tricked me into going to a concert in Costa Mesa of all places. I went in and thought “this too shall pass” they read a scripture and prayed and then the music. Suddenly I was at peace. But I resisted. 2 years later I accepted the Lord but it all started at Calvary .

He denounced homosexuality after he fell into the sin. He came back. Perhaps, because he was being used to bring people to Christ, satin took his biggest weakness (im sure you have no secret weakness) and tried to destroy him like so many but good news is he did confess and repent in the end it seems. Yes he sinned he back slid. But do you believe in God's mercy?
It's God's Grace that keeps us from sin. He lost that Grace obviously for a period. God disciplined him (aids). Do you think Jesus blood is not enough to forgive and cleanse him on his death bed?
