I’m not sure if the pirated version would work with this video’s method, I’ve never used pirated Subnautica or anything of that nature in general so I wouldn’t know if it works or not sorry
The mod thing isn’t showing up in the bottom of options I kinda watched your video a few times I don’t know I’m lost at this point I did everything you did
I helped another person in the comments with this! It took a bit but eventually figured it out so let’s start with the version of subnautica that you’re using, are you on Subnautica 2.0 or using legacy Subnautica as the stuff in this video only works with 2.0 subnautica
Most mods you can simply delete and that's it! However, some mods do have you doing other stuff like reloading the game then deleting and such so just make sure you read the mod descriptions to make sure it doesn't say a specific way of uninstalling a mod before you delete it!
I am, not entirely sure? I would imagine so though as you should still have a folder with the subnautica files and such in it that you would be able to drag and drop the mod files into unless Epic Games doesn't have that? You should be able to however I'm not sure how to do it because I don't really use epic games, my apologies!
i think that this might be version problem , cuz i currently have the version from the 02/07/2024 update and trying the mods only some little mods works like the mod manager or the radial tabs , but from the mod manager everything seemed fine , every mod was installed but i when i hop on the game i cant see any of the mods i installed
I am unsure, I think some mods let you specifically do that but that doesn’t apply to every mod so for most you’ll have to delete and reinstall as you need
If the mod has a plugins folder that’s telling you where it goes, the bepinex folder has a plugins folder which is where mods go so if you drag the plugins folder from a mod you are installing into the bepinex plugins folder it’ll automatically put your mod files where they need to go as they are arranged in the folders
I would say it’s more so if a mod has reported bugs as well as how long it’s been since it was last updated! If there are many bugs surrounding a mod and it hasn’t been updated in a while then I would avoid it as the bugs will likely not be fixed and you’ll be playing with a broken mod but if a mod still works and is stable despite not being updated for some time I think it’s okay to be used as long as it doesn’t cause any issues for your game!
I'll try my best! If you aren't getting the mod option then it's likely something that went wrong with the nautilus and/or bepinex installation, I would delete all of those files and then reinstall again but remember bepinex goes into the subnautica folder and then bepinex goes inside of the bepinex folder, and let me know what happens after that!

I am not sure, Sorry!
can you do one but for subnauitca on the xbox app for pc because i have it on that and not steam
Unfortunately I do not think it’ll work if you use Xbox subnautica, only steam
Does it work if you have it on epic games and not steam??
I am, not entirely sure? I would imagine so though as you should still have a folder with the subnautica files and such in it that you would be able to drag and drop the mod files into unless Epic Games doesn't have that? You should be able to however I'm not sure how to do it because I don't really use epic games, my apologies!
i think that this might be version problem , cuz i currently have the version from the 02/07/2024 update and trying the mods only some little mods works like the mod manager or the radial tabs , but from the mod manager everything seemed fine , every mod was installed
but i when i hop on the game i cant see any of the mods i installed
did u find a soloution to this? i have same problem here but idk how to fix it in the top right it says feb-2024 72550
it wont work, i cant put the nautilus file in the bepinex file, what do i do?
@@acoolonion Like is it glitching each time you try to put it in there or? And are the files zipped or unzipped
I understood this tutorial but is there a way to disable mods to not delete em?
I am unsure, I think some mods let you specifically do that but that doesn’t apply to every mod so for most you’ll have to delete and reinstall as you need
@@CrimxsenThanks and good tutorial unlike some other ones I seen on RUclips.
Why does it say construct in deeper water but then I go to deeper water it says it still
Go to void
Preciate it
how do you disable them?
The captcha won't show up and I cannot make an account. anybody have tips?
3:39 so you forgot to tell where to put the mods that has a plugin folder or am i trippin
If the mod has a plugins folder that’s telling you where it goes, the bepinex folder has a plugins folder which is where mods go so if you drag the plugins folder from a mod you are installing into the bepinex plugins folder it’ll automatically put your mod files where they need to go as they are arranged in the folders
I am dumb and can't follow instructions, I do no have the Mod option in my Options after following the easy step installation guide twice :( Fml
same:(
Dose anyone who has downloaded a mod before know how old a mod has to be to be OK to download??
I would say it’s more so if a mod has reported bugs as well as how long it’s been since it was last updated! If there are many bugs surrounding a mod and it hasn’t been updated in a while then I would avoid it as the bugs will likely not be fixed and you’ll be playing with a broken mod but if a mod still works and is stable despite not being updated for some time I think it’s okay to be used as long as it doesn’t cause any issues for your game!
My question is Can Mods Works on crack versions of Subnautica.
I am not entirely sure unfortunately
@@Crimxsen no problem Thanks for Telling the truth.
Yeah soo.... It doesnt work.
I don’t have the mod section
When I bring the files down it says copy not copy to Subnautica 😢
That’s okay! As long as it copies into the Subnautica folder you’re good
@@Crimxsen Thanks!
@@ovalgame14You’re welcome! Did it end up working or do you need help on something else?
@@Crimxsen No I dont need help plus now I have an awesome submarine
If I play multiplayer mod do me and the person i play whit need the mod to
yeah
also i couldny find the nauitlus mod anywhere
I did everything you did and I don't even get the mod option in the game settings. Love it if you could possibly help!
@@Crimxsen did you mean nautilus goes inside the bepinex folder? because ive been having the same problem with the mod option in settings.
@@JBari_9 Yes that’s what I meant! Specifically it goes into the plugins section of nautilus
@@Crimxsen Same issue and it still is not working for me. I am also on a pirated version of subnautica if that helps.
Bruh it isn't working for me
same
where is the nautilus mod? i cant find it
Oh! I’m sorry about that, I forgot to link them in the description, the link for the Nautilus mod is here: www.nexusmods.com/subnautica/mods/1262 and I’ll update the description as well, thank you for bringing that to my attention! :)
it work's tnx
You're welcome!
Thank you for this! Unfortunately, I still haven't found the SEAL submarine anywhere.
@@Pr4mer The download link for the SEAL submarine mod can be found in the Seal Mod creator’s Discord! The link to their discord is here: discord.gg/wAyyy3pJM3
@@Crimxsen Thanks. I am a Discord newbie so I didn't realize that the mods are not available until you "verify" yourself. You could be on their Discord and never see any mods available until this important step is done.
how can i do without steam
Vortex or Nautulus?
Nautilus!
can someone count the amount of times he said BepInEx
It is an essential mod after all!
Does this work for cracked subnautica?
I am unsure sorry
thank you
You're welcome!
did everything u said and everything looked perfect but it does not work
:(
@@omribeker915 You’re on subnautica 2.0 not legacy right? Everything looked right on your end when you were doing it or during the video?
@@Crimxsen yes i did everything and it looked right
@@Crimxsen i also did the same mod to be sure
@@Crimxsen what is 2.0? and what is legacy?
I did everything you asked and it didn't work, the mod settings don't appear (my Subnautica is pirated)
