It actually is a pretty heavy effect indeed. So make sure to cut your adjustment layer like I did before adding the effect. If you add an adjustment layer and it’s still like the size of your full project (I hope you know what I mean) and then add the effect, THEN your project can indeed crash. Keep that in mind.

It is a very heavy effect for some reason so you gotta cut your adjustment layer first before applying the effect
