Apply the effect "scatter" to the layer that you wanted to disappear, create a key frame on the "scatter amount" and also on the opacity of the layer, and then move the playhead, ( which obviously determines how fast or slow the animation you wanted to happen.) Increase the "scatter amount" value and decrease the opacity value. Finally, if you want to, you can play with graphs (obviously not necessary).
hi! this video is really helpful, my only question is what is the point of precomposing a singular layer? i understand grouping numerous layers to put them into 1 precomp but what is the significance of precomposing just 1 individual layer? thanks!
Good question. 2 reasons: 1. precaution; in case I wanted to change the footage after I animated or made some other changes to it, it would be hard; on the other hand, if I did precompose the footage, it would be easy to change the footage (of course there are other ways). Also, 2. It looks good and organised in the timeline ( I mean, if you imported a particular part of the footage, then there will be a long ass guide in the timeline indicating the original length of footage ), so why not? 🦦

In the 3rd method of marking beats , instead of seeing the value , you can go to the graph and zoom it in to see the waveforms even clear
