I like the implication that only Gromit is in the loop. Really cool and fun crossover once again!
the outer wallace franchise never disappoints
Can’t wait for Wallace to visit the Quantum Cheese and eventually the Cheese of the Universe
Nice touch making the death visual a normal blink instead of 4 eyes
I'd always noticed the double-blink effect in the main game but never realized what it was. It adds so much realizing what it is
@@jadegecko It also explains why, unlike SCP Containment Breach, you don't have to worry about blinking making quantum things vanish... with four eyes, it's an easy assumption that Hearthians always have at least one eye open at all times, so you as the player only have to worry about keeping line of sight (actually it's even easier than that, _obstructed_ vision still works as long as the quantum thing is _within your view frustum,_ so merely looking in its direction is enough)...
@@WackoMcGoose I didn't know that about the view cone!
SLEEP WITH ONE EYE OPEN
GRIPPIN' SOLANUM TIGHT
Man I *really* appreciate the effort put into the time loop sequence, that felt like such a perfect transition from the rules of Wallace and Gromit to the rules of Outer Wilds.
I like the idea of Gromit being stuck in an endless timeloop, forced to nudge and guide Wallace until he uncovers the truth behind it all, the great reason, the big cheese.
I know nothing about Outer Wilds, but Wallace and Gromit got my attention, and I can't stop watching watching this. Like seriously, this is so well made. There needs to be more content like it.
If you think you might like the game, try not to learn anything more about it and play it asap. Apologies if everyone else told you this too.
@@dewhi100 Seconded; this game is primarily about puzzles and exploration, so if you know things beforehand there's inherently less game to enjoy.
I was expecting the flashbacks before waking to try and be from Gromit's Point of View but other than that, perfect as always. These are so phenomenal.
Man we need more adventures with Wallace and Gromit

Nice use of the museum statue.
As a lifelong Wallace and Gromit fan, and a big fan of Outer Wilds, these are utterly fantastic!
back again with the greatest crossover in history
It's always nice to see more Outer Wallace
Absolutely knocking it out of the park with these
When people started making machinimas all those years ago, this was the quality they imagined in their heads.
oh my god, the voice effect during the tornado... such a little change adds so much...
AKTCHSHUALLY the memory replay of the first loop only plays back until you see the statue, at which point it stops playing. This is likely because until you see that statue, all of the time-based effects of the game will not happen, and especially the sun will not explode. When you see the statue, the game teleports all of the planets to their initial starting positions, teleports you to where you were relative to Timber Hearth, and the 22 minute countdown begins. Great video, Wallace and Gromit are the best.
It's almost unsettling how well the wide angle shots of the ship flying work in these...it's so goofy when it's not first-person! But yeah these videos are High Art.
This is actually more of a cinematic masterpiece than mainstream media
This is actually amazing, I thought when I first watched the first video years ago that it was just a one-off joke video, but I have now discovered the rest of the series and am now going to watch ALL OF IT, this is going to be amazing
This is truly the best series on youtube
Oh no...
Welcome to Gabbro's Time Club, Grommet!
I love this crossover, never would've expected it
This has made my week, more Wallace and Grommit adventures are always welcome in my world
Never a dull moment
These are so brilliantly made!
The editing is amazing.
This is gold and it’s because these are my two favorite things . It’s glorious having Wallace and gromit in with the outer wilds world
The quality is unmatched in editing.
The saga continues!
This is kind of reminding me of an idea I had for like a 2.5d shooter or sandbox survival game where all the sprites were done in Aardman style claymation models. It'd take a lot of work to make, but a decent game with an aesthetic like that would be a lot of fun.
I still know nothing about outer wilds, and I still really like this series.
Gromit is in a predicament
Ngl if the Official Wallace and Gromit made a show like this where they travel from planet to planet looking for cheese
I would totally watch it
i love this.
First of all, I love Outer Wallace videos more than I can express. They are very cleverly made and inironically funny. Second of all, what is the name of the track at 0:14? It's stuck in my head sience it was used in the first episode of Outer Wallace
It's called "Train Chase", specifically a full version of the original track from "The Wrong Trousers" edited by a channel called Commander Cobalt.

1:22 GROMIT???
LOOOOOOOOOOL TOO FUNNY
Yeah screw giants deep
This is so well made but I can't understand any word. I'm bad at hearing word 😅
Where did you get the train chase music from? The only version I can find on RUclips is a different recording, and no albums have been released that I can find.
It's a version by a channel called Commander Cobalt. It still has some audio from the original film, but I was able to cover most of them up with the background ambience of Giant's Deep.

Ah, excellent, thanks for telling me. You did a good job masking those artefacts. And a great job on the video overall! Don't think I've seen an overlay (transposition? I don't know the right word for the technique) this seamless.
I do have to point out that the time loop would start from the moment he looked in the statue, right? Or am I just misunderstanding the game lore
(Spoilers) The time loop occurs before the player is even aware of a time loop.
The Orbital Probe Tracking module keeps track of the total number of loops that have happened. If you go to it immediately on your "first" launch on a new save file, it shows that it's currently the 9,318,054 loop. Going back on subsequent loops increments the counter by one.
The reason that you "start" on the 9,318,054 loop is because the Nomai didn't want to be cognizant of every time loop before the probe locates the Eye (22 minutes * 9,318,054 loops = 389+ years! That's a long time to wait). The player enters the time loop on this specific loop because the probe located the Eye, prompting the Nomai statues to activate and connect to the closest Nomai/sentient being -- which just happened to be the player, causing your memories to get sent back 22 minutes along with everything else stored in the Ash Twin Project.
what is the camera mod you used to make this vid?
It's called Static Camera on the Outer Wilds Mod Manager
Wait is this just being made into a real storyline now?
what is this song called
It's the Train Chase theme from The Wrong Trousers:
