Can we charge 4, 1.5v AA cells with 5v USB 2A charger with separate LEDs for charging indication and auto cutoff.
Yes, all 4 cells will have separate resistors. This all 4 resistor cell combinations will be in parallel.
wattage of curcuit or for a specific resistor should be considered? for 5v supply, 1w 3v led, the wattage for resistor is not 1w?? because the 0.3 apms from led in 3 volts is under 1w.
another question is can we run a 6v led on 5v usb supply? is it be on max brightness or even lighted up?
if we want a 1w resistor 56 ohms, can we use 4 1/4 14 ohms resistors in series?

A very great video all over the internet, Sir you explained everything very clearly. But one thing is really missing to solve my problem with, and that is the voltage issue which is not explained well on this video. we have 5v supply and need to charge 1.2v cell from it. so the voltage should be higher than 1.2v, say 1.45volts. how we are going to drop the voltage for it ? you did 5-1.2=3.8volts and didn't explained the reason why ? please let us know how to make a perfect charger for charging these 1.2v cells. The voltage should be dropped to 1.45 or 1.5v to fully charge the battery and the amphere and resistor part is already done on this video. Please answer my question i am badly waiting for your answer my great sir.
Voltage not required to be dropped to 1.45 volt as 1.45 has nothing to do. Battery charge by current only.

yes, work, this is a general concept. 5 volts to be replaced with 3.7 volts.

Sir ji 🙏, Mene ye practical karke dekha hai, Input 5V USB power, 39ohms, 2 watts resistance. I was used but output is 4.9V without load.
4.9V is too much high for 1.2V battery.
According to calculation 5v-1.2v = 3.8v but voltage drop was 0.1V only Why??
Your observation is correct.
Without load, output will be about 4.9 volts. Voltage drops 0.1 volt as there is no load current in the resistor. Connect battery, then output voltage will become 1.2 volt. Battery charge by current, not voltage.

Resistance is used to control charging current.but battery need overcharge protection.
Protection is always better, especially if it is a fast charger. However if the charging current is very less, then the battery is a little safer, like in slow charger. I have explained this in my video, Battery charging current calculation.
Sir u assume the usb 5v as the ideal power source.but in practical even the pc usb 5v has some limited power.sir is the 5v usb regulated or unregulated power supply .and one more doubt is that if I give the usb5v to the 5v (5amp hour)rechargable battery to charge ,here we don't need to drop the voltage by keeping resistor then how can we vary current as u said 10percent onthe battery capacity.i hope u understand my question and looking forward to Ur best answer.
1- nowhere ideal source is assumed. All good USB charger can give upto 1A current. So charging current of 0.1 amp is not the problem.
2- for charging 5 volt battery, you have to use more voltage say 9 volts, to control the current.
