I like how I recognized her even tho the only song I knew she was ever in was Garage Palace (also I’m pretty sure she might have a track or two in the fifa games). When I watched the scene I just go Omg is that little simz? You can’t just forget someone after a performance on a track like that. Definitely one of the artists I’ll look into when I have the time.
I'm at work ( I work at a movie theatre) and I'm walking. Coming underneath the theatre door, I hear little simz's voice. "Hmm, I must be tripping or something". Then I the door opens as people release and the music gets louder. I hear the beat, and the famous line "VENOM!!!". In my head I say, oh my gosh, that's little simz". So happy that she got the end credit song for this movie. I can now enjoy cleaning the theatre when the credits come up :)

Awesome to see Simbi getting the recognition she deserves. Personally prefer the original version, but I'd guess it's to fit in with the movie better.
Yeah the album version is about her being a black woman under threat so I guess she had to change that to be more generalised when talking about a comic book character

Eminem’s version has its own vibe, more Suicide Squad or Joker type shyt IMO but this is more sinister especially the instrumental drive in the choruses, they have a sinister walk vibe and the backward vocals make it sound like they’re going “crazy” aka Venom
I like both. I myself never heard of her but she’s ight. I am just a em fan and a venom fan. So when em did the song for the first movie I flipped out! To of my favorites: the rap god and my fav marvel character together. So yeah.

Being from London, England I was so glad to hear someone else with a similar accent (that I once had), here in the States.
