So sweet to see Teddy cosy up to you for a 'game' of gardening (😆 ✨ ) - You can really see his confidence growing, outdoors.. It made me smile to see him run back to the house, just after you. 😍🐱🐈✨
A gardener's work is never done. So great that you had an unseasonably warm day to enjoy it even more. Lovely to see Teddy having so much fun "supurrvising" you.
Having the wildlife move in during the winter is normal for rural France. One winter we caught ten (with a humane trap) and relocated them a mile down the road. It won't just be mice though. There are fouine (which I think are stone martens but not sure) and also Loire which are very cute little critters. Poisoning them really isn't a good idea. If they die outside, something else like an owl will eat them and then they die, or your kitten might find them and you really don't want that. Even if you kill this lot, another lot will move in, that is just the reality of living here You either learn to live with it or try to stop up the holes where they get in. We have managed to block up the holes they accessed into our actual living space and haven't had mice for about four years, so it is worth trying.
How I love watching you and Teddy what a cute little kitty. I am slightly jealous that you are still able to garden. Our ground is completely frozen and everything looks dead. I can’t wait to get out there and dig in the dirt. Enjoy.😊
Wonderful garden footage of you, Teddy and the garden! I use live traps and release them in the woods. But I have a female cat that "mouses"! We didn't have any intruders this past Fall. Could be we have more birds of prey! Take care!
Hi Marc & Teddy! Wow! you're gardening, I can"t even think about working in my garden until May :( Happy gardening Marc, and Teddy happy exploring your new kingdom.
Such a fun video. Exploring your attic. Great space up there. Loved the gardening bit but most of all I just adore Teddy. He’s so fit and healthy. Never seen a kitten sprint so fast. Wow, does he adore you ! ❤
Lovely watching the gardening. Hope the supervisor got his wages, he takes the job very seriously. You can see from the gloss on his coat he's in tip top condition. Consider getting humane traps for the loft, would hate Teddy to get poisoned if you had an escapee rodent.
Sorry missed a couple of videos as not feeling 100%. We have had similar, we got some snap traps bated with peanut and cereal job done. It is so sweet to see Teddy out in the garden with you.
I had a mouse a few months ago…we caught it in one of those clear tube traps with some “vache qui rit” inside. Mice are not as clever as rats and easy to catch. You could release him whilst out on a bike ride into a distant field.
Hello There Marc and Teddy and Micky or mini LOL 🐁🐁, Hope you are well , Great video and what an interesting looking loft and Great you have a window there , Hopefully Teddy will scare any Rodents away , well All Looking Good , Keep up your Great work , Take care Marc and Teddy 🌟👍👍🐈⬛🐁
Hi Marc, you've probably realised that when Teddy sits in the sink he is asking you to turn on the cold water tap, cats just love drinking fresh running water from the tap even though they won't drink it in their bowl.
Oh mark ,I really wouldn’t be happy knowing all that stuff was sitting above my head plus animals and cobwebs lol. Bonus I suppose is teddy ,in the future will have plenty to play with 🤗
Hi Marc omg 14°, I think it made 7° in soggy Kent, I long to gat out in the garden, but so wet. So cute how Teddy follows you around, great company. Cats and trees, likes ducks and water 😅. We have another storm heading our way , more rain🙄, have a great evening, ❤
Teddy enjoys the field and discovering the world. He will catch mice, rats and lizards and maybe birds too, which is natural behavior. My cats bring animals in their mouths, all of which are still alive and I can release these animals again.
Hi , for the mice just let your cat go in there . Usually the mice smell a cat's been exploring their space and they flee the place . And any sort of rodent really . Let the cat go in for a good 5 minutes every day .
@GoingSolo-sfs i was not talking about the attic. Very bad for your kitty with that insulation . I was talking about the space under the stairs . Sorry if I didn’t explain my thought . I’ m French and sometimes when tired my English is not what it could be .
mint oil, cayenne pepper mashed with garlic. One of the mice species is protected in France, begins with L , can't remember how to spell it. However, how are you going to know until you find it, lol. Teddy looks happy. My mad girl went out in gale-force winds and doesn't mind the rain, which i think is strange. Also i got a humane mouse catcher, i used it twice, and it only took half an hour for the mouse to enter it. I suppose if it wasn't for the insulation, you could shove your cat up there, as i used to do that with one of my kittens, at first she caught spiders, then became an expert mouse catcher. My current cat is bored in England, but when we get back to France she will be taking her job (catching rodents) super seriously, but sometimes she brings them in the house, and she kind of has ADHD as she loses her concentration and they escape in the house; hence the humane mouse catcher. In fact, i must by a humane rat catcher, just in case, lol
Hi Marc, Pity there is that open window up there or I would said put the cat up there, his scent alone may stop the mice. We had rats on the back garden and somebody said have you got a cat because that may make them move. We have 2 dogs that don't like cats hence why we don't have one. Xx
Be careful with treats to kill your rodents - now you have a cat. Just leave them be but give your cat free run of your house - they’ll soon all move on one cat is on the prowl!
Please give me a thumbs up and don't forget to come and say hello 🙂
Love that, you giving Micky a micky....

Well, if Teddy eats a poisoned mouse, he'll also be poisoned. Traps are far more humane. You may have bats up there also - they are totally harmless.
👋 its so sweet to see Teddy exploring while you garden.

Not exactly the type of company you appreciate in a house
Lovely watching you & Teddy doing your gardening he’s never far behind you you garden looks great ❤❤

Great to see you in the garden and Teddy being the inquisitive kitty ❤
Loved hearing the Birds and seeing Teddy being helpful in the garden roll on Spring 😊❤😊

Enjoyed that and Teddy adores you. 👏👏👏
Hi new subscriber really like your channel
Hello, Welcome to the madness 🙂
Once Teddy is a little older the mice will be history 😊
Fingers crossed 🙂

Teddy is adorable.
Loved birdsong. Teddy is inspecting his territory 😊

Thank you Paul 🙂
Micky mouse is one thing Roland is another!! You love that black cat. 💕😍💕
Hi Marc, I love this video and seeing Teddy jumping about. He is a team player now. Good luck. 😅
Thank you Karen 🙂
😂 Your Teddy is just like my Neve, food orientated and tree climbing 😂
They can be very difficult to remove .
So cute to see Teddy running over to watch what your doing , I quite liked the music you had on ,naughty Teddy yes they like to climb ❤❤🖤

Hope the wind isn't too strong, I think it arrives here at the weekend 🙂

My tools would break if I tried to garden in January. Today I"m thankful the temperature is 22 degrees F instead of of 14 degrees below zero F.
😀

I wouldn't want Teddy in all the itchy fibreglass insulation. The 'treats' will see them gone 🙂

From the title I thought is was a two legged one lol

I see Teddy climbing trees!
He loves them 🙂
Peppermint oil cakes or spray ...they hate it

Oh noooo, I was screaming before you opened the stairway door 🐭
Mice and spiders 🙂
You have new head gear on in your video😂
Just a little light 🙂

Hi Roy 🙂
I have the same problem as you in my attic in France they get in anywhere pests! Teddy watching every thing you are doing and now he is exploring😂

Good luck with rodent control!
