며칠 전에 언니랑 저녁을 먹으러 나갔었어요.

2주일에 한번정도 자주 가는 고기집에 갔어요.
We went to a barbecue place that i often go to, about once 2 weeks.
24시간 영업하는 곳이라 주로 밤늦게, 사람이 없을 때 가는 걸 좋아해요.
it’s a 24hour place, so i usually like to go late at night when it isn’t crowded.
근데 이번에는 평소보다 좀 일찍 갔어요.
but this time. We went a little earlier than usually.
사람이 좀 더 많을 거라고는 예상했는데 생각보다 훨씬 더 많더라고요.

근데 이번에는 점심을 일찍 먹어서 평소보다 일찍갔어. 생각보다는 사람이 적었어. 그래도 평소보단 사람이 많았어.
But this time, i had lunch too early so i went there a little earlier than usual. it was less crowded than i thought. But there were more people than usual.
평소와 달리 목소리가 좀 잠긴듯..

We usually like to go there lunchtime when our son goes to kindergarten. But this time, when we got there, the door was close because the owner was not in good health. So we went to another restaurant. The place was much more crowded. So I was expecting the food to be good. But it didn't taste than I thought

Earlier today, my mom and I went out for lunch. We hadn't eaten out since the pandemic started. Anyway, we went to a Chinese place that we hardly go to about two or three times a year?.. It was a very popular place in our neighborhood. So we were naturally expecting to see many people there but It was much less crowded than we thought. I was glad that we didn't have to wait for our table but it certainly was not good for them.

I don't usually went out for dinner. But I've heard that a nice bulgogi place opened recently. So i went there with a friend who loves bulgogi. He's the person told me about the place.
Anyway we were expecting to see many people but it was much more crowded than we thought. So i told him that it will be better to get here later again. A little earlier than that day. He seemed disappointed but i didn't want to waste a couple of hours for just a dinner.

30년전 영어 배울 때
I'd like to는 '~하고 싶다'의 의미라고 알고 있고 I like ~ing는 '~하는 것을 좋아한다' 로 알고있는데요.. 영상에서 처럼 I like to go late at night '가는걸 좋아한다' 의미라 갑자기 혼란스러워졌습니다.
like to 동사원형도 like ~ing와 같은 의미로 쓰일 수 있는건지요?
like는 -ing와 to-를 모두 취할 수 있는 동사입니다.

일상을 영어로 말하기 편, 너무 너무 좋아요. 계속 반복 연습하고, 하루에 적어도 한 개 이상 영상은 꼭 보고 공부합니다.
연습가이드 44번 외웠어요..넘 힘들었어요. 그래서 이번주는 토들러로 택했어요..1분 30초 걸렸거요. 한주씩 넘나들면서.. 제수준보다 좀 힘들걸 할때 말로 표현할수없는 이해가 되더라구요.그러다 다시 토들러로 오니 넘 만만해요 ㅎㅎ
이번 말하기가이드는 외우기는 쉬운데 왜그리 안외워지는지..ㅎ 오늘 다외웠어요. 48초걸렸어요..더유창해지긴힘들더라구요..순간에 한국말.영어.발음까지 3개를 동시에..와 모든 고뇌?를 잊을수있는 좋은 취미에요.이번주는 그래도 빨리끝냏아요..영상 하나씩 모아지는 재미 ㅎ

선생님, They’re open 24 hours에서 they open 또는 they are opened이 아니라 they’re open이 되는 이유가 무엇인지 알 수 있을까요? Be동사 뒤에 수동태가 와야 하는 것이 아닌지 헷갈려서요 ㅠㅠ
저도 궁금해서 찾아보니 open 이 형용사로 '열려있는'의 뜻을 갖고 있습니다.

선생님!! they’re open 24 hours.에서 24 hours 앞에 for를 사용하면 안되나요? 짧은 실력인 저는 for를 사용했을거 같아서요. 전치사를 쓰는것이 넘 어렵네요. 물론 다 어렵지만..

They're open from 10 a.m. So i usually like to go there early in the morning when it isn't crowded. But, this time, i went there a little later than usual.
