- Опубликовано: 9 май 2024
- Even in a series known for its difficulty like Dark Souls, there are some bosses designed to beat the player down more than the rest. In this video we’ll be barely surviving the most difficult bosses from every FromSoft Souls-Like game and living to tell about it. For this video, Isshin the Sword Saint of Sekiro, the Orphan of Kos from Bloodborne, as well as the Nameless King from Dark Souls 3 and many more will have us begging for mercy before showing us that infamous “You Died” screen. What single boss gave you the most trouble in FromSoft’s Souls games? Share your struggles in the comments.

Demon's Souls - Allant
Dark Souls 1 - Manus
Dark Souls 2 - Elana
Bloodborne - Laurence
Dark Souls 3 - Sister Friede
Sekiro - Isshin
Elden Ring - Malenia
Demon's: Maneaters
DS1: Manus
DS2: Fume Knight
BB: Laurence
DS3: Sister Friede
Sekiro: Owl (Father)
ER: Malenia
Sister Friede was harder than Nameless King
Way harder
Nah both were easy darkeater midir was hardest boss in ds3
@@monsteractiveHow’d you get past Midir
@@monsteractive guess it depends on the build and person. It took me longer to beat friede than Midir
Darkeater Midir is a Clockwork to fight !!! Everything is timed like a clock so you just have to wait till he lay his head and it's one two three if you know your timing and one two if you are a conservative fighter @@Dee-iy9uq
Agree with most, but Sister Friede in DS3 and Demon of Hatred in Sekiro would be my pick.
I think Demon is kind of difficult for different reasons than it should be.. Meaning that it's a Bloodborne boss in Sekiro. Sword Saint is difficult for the right reasons
i definetly agree with demon of hatred because i can beat malenia with summons but with fighting the demon of hatred, i can only win with the whistle. it made isshin look like a joke after
I agree. Malenia was also not the hardest imo in Elden Ring.
I still haven't beaten isshin after 6 years of trying lmfao
@@andrew-rn9ui Thats crazy. You are definitely doing something wrong.
"DS3: Nameless King"
Sister Frieda would like to have a word with you.
Midir would like to have a word
@@JJwzp8081. Friede
2. Midir, 3. pontiff and 4. Nameless king.
I struggled badly to Midir more than Friede and Nameless King combined. Nameless King is only a camera-fuck battle, he's not that hard.
@@issi529 idk why, I do really think Pontiff is ridiculously hard lmfao. that thing is busted.
@@issi529 mate pontiff is easy if you learn to parry him
pinwheel should be here
I love that if you wear Velstadt's helm, Fume Knight immediately goes into his second stage 😮💨
Seriously? Can you say more about it?
@@VCN01its because velstadt was the only one to beat fume knight
Good choices mate! Here's my thoughts:
01. Old King Allant:
I think he's a good choice for the hardest in Demons Souls. The Maneaters are tough, but they have become more manageable with time. I think Flamelurker could have also taken the spot.
02. Manus, Father Of The Abyss:
While an argument can be made for Artorias, Gwyn, and Kalameet, I think Manus just might be the hardest. For one thing, he has high resistance to almost everything. The arena is open, but deceptively smaller than you might think. With Manus's relentless aggression, it's easy to get backed into a wall. This is one where you really gotta learn his moveset in and out to know when your brief attack windows are available! Bring a katana for an easier time!
03. Fume Knight:
Before I learned about upgrading the agility stat, I would have probably agreed with this guy being the hardest boss in DS2. He's up there for sure, but so are Sir Alonne, Aged Smelter Demon, Burnt Ivory King, and Lud And Zallen...
04. Orphan Of Kos:
I have to agree. The sheer speed is insane! There's just so much happening at once with this bastards moveset, especially in phase two. I do think Ludwig and Laurence are good choices as well. There's actually several more if we count the...Chalice Dungeons...but who would do that?
05. The Nameless King:
Once again, I agree. I've fought DS3's toughest multiple times. On my first couple of playthroughs I would have said any of the dlc bosses. Friede, Demon Prince, Midir, and Gael all gave me a massive headache! Not halfpint or Sif wannabe though. On repeat playthroughs I've only gotten better at managing all of these, but the Nameless King still manages to make me struggle! I think it has to do with the different timings of his attacks. They aren't as fluid as other bosses. Sometimes they're extremely delayed, and other times they're lightning fast. It also doesn't help that his damage output hits like a truck!
06. Isshin, The Sword Saint:
Might as well be Isshin, I guess. Truth is, I struggled with almost all of the bosses in Sekiro. Couldn't seem to mentally switch over from Dark Souls and kept trying to fight like in those games. My top three has to go Isshin, Owl Father, and Demon Of Hatred. Especially Demon Of Hatred...cool boss, but holy crap it took me almost an entire day to gain a victory! That said, Isshin is the only boss in the game where I don't feel I managed a fair victory. I mean, I did, in the strictest sense. Yet, the fight devolved into me running around the arena, taking pot shots here and there when I could. Definitely not how it was meant to be done. Next time I play Sekito, I aim to git gud and master it!
07. Malenia, Goddess Of Rot:
Ah, Malenia. I have raged and cursed over a many Souls boss since introducing myself to the series. Yet not nearly as much as I did with Malenia! Only in this case, I think Fromsoft actually went too far this time. She is one, of only two bosses in Souls history that I think are actually bullshite. The other being the Godskin Duo. It's the Water Fowl Dance... it's just ridiculous. It can insta kill a playrr with high vitality and requires multiple, frame perfect dodges to avoid. She can also perform it in a split second, allowing her to reach you all the way across the arena! Add in her ability to gain health after every successful attack, and the bullshite just grows. She even gets scarlet rot in the second phase! I still like the fight mind you, and her design in particular, but she is without a doubt the hardest boss in Elden Ring, and the entire Souls series. Just not for fair reasons. Let's see if Shadow Of The Erdtree can top it!
I like the mindset for sekiro. I was a total nerd so I just hard push that man the whole time and just work his ass lol it’s fun as hell to do no damage on that fight, feels like your playing a anime game lmao😂
my list:
Demon Souls: Maneaters
Dark Souls 1: Manus
Dark Souls 2: Sir Alonne
Bloodborne: Ludwig
Dark Souls 3: Midir
Sekiro: Demon of Hatred
Elden Ring: Malenia
id say Lawrence the first vicar is harder than ludwig , but good list after all
@@EdmondDantes31personally idky people say Laurence is hard. For his first phase I don’t lock on for a proper roll(honestly makes it easier tbh) and for his temper tantrum I make a J and dodge backwards. Now Laurence is still insanely hard but I never had an issue with him
Finally someone who also picks Alonne as the #1 in difficulty for DS2, thank God, literally everyone I've seen thinks that Fume Knight is the hardest
Any tips on orphan?
@@maxpaliz6563 on some of his attacks(such as his flying overhead) if you have a fast enough weapon try to get a charged R2 in since he can be staggered quite easily, and when he does phase transition if you time it right you can get a charged R2 but it is a somewhat tight window. Now this won’t be a big deal but when he’s winding up for his spin attack either back up then jump back in for a charged R2(preferred way) or learn the parry timing(preferred if you have a slow weapon) it’s not hard and not to risky. In phase 2 try to fight him in the water since the lighting attack he does will(most of the time) miss you but still be aware. Even with these tips he’s still an insanely hard fight just don’t get greedy and take him down, hunt the orphan of a great one(also hit the shadow when you beat him for the actual finale)
Amazing video MojoPlays 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Ds1 - kalameet
Ds2 - fumy boy
Ds3 - Midir, died to that dragon more than all the other Bosses in all games combined
BB - orphan
Elden ring - Rykard, untill i found a new shiny spear..
Sekiro - met isshin, stopped playing..
Isshin is really easy once you learn the moves. I beat him with no tools. Took maybe two hours. Demon of hatred on the other hand, was a pain in my ass. That boss I stopped playing for a little and came back and finally beat it.
des - flamelurker
ds1 - manus
ds2 - fume knight or lud and zallen (runback ptsd)
bloodborne - dont have the dlc so martyr or gehrman
ds3 - nameless king
sekiro - demon of hatred
elden ring - havent finished yet
I agree, the Demon of Hatred is the toughest boss in Sekiro. I think people often overlook that boss.
@@murderface5773 fr for me it was the biggest challenge in gaming it took me like 6 hours but thats because i play these games without buffs n shit i just used my sword and thats it not even prosthetics
Idk, but i killed manus on the first try XD
Is he really that difficult? I had a bigger problem with Artorias
@@piotrwiduch9169 yeah i would put them around the same spot i just had to choose one and i like human bosses more than big monsters + his dark arena but artorias is the best ds1 boss for me fosho
How have you not played BB DLC?
Maneaters over Allant for me. Allant had a very predicable pattern and was easy to dodge for me. Those 2 Maneaters, damn you never got the same fight twice lol
Favorite bosses :
DEM : Flamelurker
DS : Knight Artorias Of The Abyss
DSII : Sir Alonne
DSIII : Darkeater Midir
BB : Laurence, The First Vicar
SEK : Father Owl
ER : Maliketh, The Black Blade.
Tbh, the Maneaters were harder than Allant.
Yeah and Flamelurker on NG+ I swear Maneaters and and Flamelurker are both harder than Allant! To each their own tho!
@@matthewscottentertainmentg1964 Maneaters are fucking grueling. especially in the boss arena where you're fighting them, it's fucking exhausting mentally to fight them lol.
DS1 - Funny or not but Bed of Chaos, she always give me a real hard time 😂
DS2 - I'll go with DLC Smelter Demon
DS3 - Nameless King
BB - Orphan of Kos
Sekiro - Demon of Hatred
Elden Ring - Pre nerf Radahn
I just replayed Sekiro and finished it yesterday and it took me way more time to beat DoH than Isshin... Yes there s more to learn about Isshin's set but think about it, DoH forces you to forget everything you knew about combat up to that point, + giant health bar + constantly moving away.. i only played Elden Ring and Sekiro but seriously Demon of Hatred is hands down my hardest boss ever.
If you haven’t, do an Easiest Bosses in Every Souls Game.🤷🏽♂️
For me it was blight town right in the swamps on the Xbox 360. Those 10fps could kill you faster than the black bow knight snipers in anor Londo. Most of the time was because I would get invaded and they had the advantage
I've only played Dark Souls 3 & Elden Ring, Nameless King and Malenia sure gave me a run for my money
Wow, i agree with every single one, nice 👍🏾
Nameless king isn't that hard because he's predictable, Friede is waaaay harder
Midir hardest dragon in history of gaming ? Try to solo Fatalis
Is this including dlcs?
My list
Demon souls : Flamelurker
Dark souls : Manus
Dark souls 2 : Sir Alonne
Dark souls 3 : Sister Friede now (Midir in first monts)
Bloodborne : Orphan of Kos now (Lawrence in first monts)
Elden ring : Radagon now (Malenia in first monts)
I played all of dark souls games. I can’t stop my hand shaking for a while after defeat sister Friede.
Demon Souls - Flamelurker
Dark Souls 1 - Manus Father Of Abyss
Dark Souls 2 - Darklurker
Dark Souls 3 - Sister Friede
Bloodborne - Ludwig Holy Blade
Sekiro Shadow Die Twice - Demon Of Hatred
Elden Ring - Melania Blade Of Miquella ( Probably some Shadow Of The Edtree Boss Going To Replace Her)
What is the shield from 1:58
I can’t imagine what we’re in for in the Elden Ring DLC.
Black Dragon Kalameet looking at this video like "such disrespect"
Cutting it's tail is the hard part but defeating it is super easy just takes time.
He is my favorite DS1 boss, but definitely not more difficult than Manus
@@Hopeful_Husker I beat Manus on my first try and with Kalameet I lost count, 3 dualsense and 1 TV 📺
He's worse. He can one shot you.
came here skeptical, saw malenia at number 1, skepticism was erased
Took me more than 200 tries to beat Malenia (solo, melee, no bells or ashes), but not even that can compare with the struggle to beat Isshin. By far the hardest boss i ever faced. I didn't play the Demon's Souls remake but in the og game the Maneaters are the most difficult bosses. Tower of Latria is a nightmare.
For me it was in the Soul series but not the same ones like these. For me it was Emperor Strife from Soul Calibur 3. Hardest boss i've ever faced. It was literally a survival mode.
What about the ibis series cel 240 from armored core 6
I think he wanted to say "Inner Isshin" instead of Sword Saint Isshin.
for the life of me i could not figure out black dragon kalameet from the abyss dlc. i lost to radagon and the elden beast as much or more than malenia. i tried sir alonne a few times before i stopped playing the game and just didn't want to learn his mechanics in the moment for some reason.
The dual fight in elden ring is by far the hardest, then demon hatred sekiro
"DS3: Nameless King"
laughs in Dancer of boreal valley, Slave Knight Gael and Sister Friede
💯% agreed with this list 😎 🙏 👌
Imo
DeS-Flamelurker
DS-Manus
DS2-Fume Knight
BB-Orphan of Kos
DS3-Sister Friede
SSDT-Demon of Hatred
ER-Malenia
Pretty on point 👍
Once I figured out how to stay back from Flamelurker, I’d say Maneaters are tougher but I agree with the rest 🔥
Elden Ring: “the most difficult boss… so far”
In Demons Souls I had way more problems with flamelurker and maneaters XD
Nameless king isn't hard . + Laurence should be here .
DS3 was Midir. No question about it. Frieda you could learn her pattern quick, the king was just a standard strong boss
I will never understand why everyone always says Nameless King is the hardest DS3 boss. He has such basic attack patterns. Even Demon In Pain and Demon from Below is harder than this.
Burnt Ivory King and his posse would like to have a few words with you.
Yes, the king himself may not be that bad. But its hard cause even with the three knights to help, you are guaranteed to lose most of your estus before him - praying the rng of their aggro doesnt turn on you (which was often)
Its both my favorite yet otherwise fight in DS2 - legit I did like 100+ tries on it, nearly getting enough armor for the reward from the girl
Mind you I was running Curved Dragon Greatsword w/fire weapon spell and had to parry EVERY. SINGLE. KNIGHT. To manage surviving but yeah
I didnt have a hard time with the orphan of kos, honestly. But then ya other bosses like the nameless king or malenia wipped me. Isshin is my fav. EPIC fight. Make a sekiro prequel starring him please!
Midir would’ve been my pick for DS3. He’s able to dodge/attack at the same time like Artorias, hits as hard as the Fume Knight, and is as agile as Blackflame Friede.
Are you confusing midir with gael?
@@tehCostHD absolutely not. Gael was much easier than Midir for me
@@SuntanSuperman8 oh, the way you were describing it just sounded more like a human fight than a dragon fight lmao
I know its an unpopular opinion but Lorian from Dark Souls 3 is very hard if you're not prepared
The demon in pain and the demon from below and the dark eater Midir fights are probably my two favorite in the entire entire souls genre. I do like sister friede. She’s probably in the top three or five? The third souls game will always be my favorite.
I would say falling dmg is the ultimate boss of souls games. Also, Sister fride needed a mention. So it's obvious ds3 had the most hard bosses.
I also got through anor londo archers on my first try on my playthrough. In my second, I found out I was a lucky bastard. Aside from that, OnS was a hard boss. Like when you encounter it, you are not that high on dps and hp.
idk about DS3 having more harder bosses I think Sekiro has that undisputed title. Elden Ring bosses are a lot harder as well.
Demon souls: Flamelurker
Dark souls 1: Manus
Dark Souls 2: Fume Knight
Bloodborne: Ebrietas
Dark Souls 3: Midir
Elden Ring: Malenia
Would argue Sword Saint tops them all as there really is not a lot of cheese in Sekiro, in your first run there's no real strat to level up anything significant and you literally just have to master it or suffer
For me not really that hard cuz his movesets are very predictable and once you memorize his movesets it was easy
Wtf ishin is the easiest compare to owl and hatred, you can lure ishins gun jump with an umbrella attack
@@theunknown7441demon is a poor boss and difficult for the wrong reasons. owl is fair though
@@talentroller4413Owl Father's pace was more frantic and faster than Sword Saint Isshin. Isshin is a ruthless one but his attacks are telegraphed and aren't so fast compared to Owl.

Darkeater midir is by far the hardest boss in ds3
How bout top 10 easiest Souls bosses ?
DS1: Bed of Chaos.
DS2: Either Vendrick (cuz I didn't know about him) or Fume Knight I guess.
DS3: Gael
Sekiro: Isshin the Glock Saint
Elden Ring: Obvious (unless Mesmer is gonna be somehow worse than her)
It’s not gonna be Messmer. It’s gonna be some unknown boss we haven’t seen yey
kind of cheese Old King in Demon Souls with poison and kept my distance and use magic during his AoE wind-up. but Flamelurker is what got me with his aggressive move and i have to play defense with magic
People saying nameless king is harder than midir gotta be one of the craziest shi ever
The only one I agree with is Manus. Especially with Nameless king. Not even top 3 in that game
Nameless King is overrated, I agree, for me personaly the hardest bosses in the game were the Twin Princes and the The Demon princes, duo bosses are my weakness. I killed the nameless after 20 tries, the Twin Princes took me like 60 tries, demon 50.
@@guillaumevantieghem480 that’s the great thing about these games is everyone’s different. I didn’t find Twin princes that hard.
My hardest was Sister Friede, Gael and soul of cinder
@@jimmyrace1258 That's entirely true! Yeah Friede was hard as well! Took me 30 tries, for some reason I was able to beat Gael first try, probably just luck hahahah
Nameless King is only hard due to the camera angle.
Forget about Old King Allant, I'm lucky if I can survive two minutes against the Vanguard Demon
My list:
Demon Souls: havent played
Ds1: Knight Artorias
DS2: the game itself
DS3: Aldrich
Elden Ring: Malenia
Sekiro: havent played
I would just change the part of Dark souls 3 and elden ring. bosses like midir or sister friede, have more difficult movement, more resistance, speed, and damage. About Elden Ring, I don't think Malenia is as difficult as it seems, she only has one attack that is difficult, which would be "Waterful dance". Maybe maliketh(ng+ it even becomes difficult) or radagon (because it's tiring due to elden beast)
Sister friede was harder than the nameless king. You can cheese his lighting strike attack by simply turning away. In Elden Ring I feel like the hardest/coolest boss is maliketh. Even he was harder than Malenia and I’m an intelligence build… but the other bosses I agree with. Especially Manus! He is a thorn in my side! 😅
For me the Dancer is a harder boss than Nameless King. I recently played the DLC and ended up beating Midir first try but back when I played on Xbox it took me at least 30+ tries
Where is Rick, Soldier of God?
I had a period where the OdK kept having me,
In ds3 I found Gael and midir the most difficult, midir is an absolute beast. Also controversial opinion but twin princes are a pain in the ass. Malenia is hard but she’s weak to bleed which helped me massively 😂 Elden beast was a struggle for me ngl
1.malenia
2.midir
3.sister friede
4.laurence
5.orphan of kos
I agree with all except for DS3. Hardest boss of DS3 was either Friede or Midir.
ds1: honesty didn't struggle with any of the bosses... except artorias, fuck artorias, nobody should be allowed three consecutive spinny pancake slams like that. I guess ornstein and smough made me switch up how I play but as soon as i did it was a trivial dub, so idk.
ds2: honestly the lost sinner had me stuck for the longest time. the burnt ivory king's knights gave me a lot of annoyance but the king himself was fine (despite the king being the only to kill me, but god damn those knights were a pain)
elden ring: malenia by far, but honorable mention to renalla and rykard who give me an unreasonable amount of trouble for no reason despite everyone telling me they're supposed to be easy
ds3 (so far, haven't finished): only got up farron keep and the place where gael and the infinitely spawning zombies are, but i was stuck on the rotting greatwood for the longest time but beat him first try on my most recent attempt, otherwise the crystal sage gave me some hands and a half
bb (so far, haven't finished): only got up to old yarnham, but father gascone is the ONLY soulsborne boss that's had me screaming like a little girl.
bonus points - lies of p: laxasia, fuck laxasia.
Orphan of kos was painful
I honestly think that Nameless King isn't thaaaat, he's a pretty fair (and fun) boss. The only ones who have really struggled with him are roll spammers since his attacks have some delays.
I would put Sister Friede and Midir as the hardest bosses in DS3
Unsure why everyone names Manus. Kalameet is worse and one shots you. If don't memorize 1-2 moves. You can put on heavy armor and get lucky w Manus. The only boss I never memorized his moves, was never necessary.
Darkeater Midir is harder than nameless king
When I played bloodborne, it was my first souls game. I died a few times at the first boss, and then 2 times at father gascoigne. A few times at the blood starved beast and once at the giant spider. Other than that I didn’t die during any boss fights. Although I missed several bosses
Did you play the DLC?
@@tehCostHD I did not
@@lukasgus8434 yeah the base game bosses really aren’t too bad like you were saying, DLC bosses are much harder
"Geeee airman"
I had to use a mimic tear with Malenia
I beat ishiin in about two hours. Once you learn his moves he’s cake. Demon of hatred on the other hand WAY FUCKING HARDER. It’s a god damn souls boss in a game that’s not souls lol demon gave me way more of a challenge then ishiin ever could.
Those games thrive off people having literally nothing better to do.
I think Friede or Midir from DS3 was harder than nameless king. But agree with everyone else
Id say dark eat midir was the one boss in the franchise I didn’t kill. I don’t find him fun challenging so id say he’s the hardest boss in ds3
Am I the only one who found Manus super easy? DS1 as a whole was not nearly as hard as expected tbh.
nameless king is not even top 5 in difficulty for me for ds3 sister Friede definitely the hardest
Father owl (past), Laurence
Do non fromsoft games count? If so, then I would throw nameless puppet, Laxasia, and Unidentified Natyiba on the list
Nameless king? Seriously? Ultra greatsword doing clang clang
For me, Knight Artorias be hardest (I ever play only DSR) also every boss in DLC AOA so strong
Manus we can summon Sif to help for someone play safe like me it will make Manus not too hard But...for Knight Artorias he so strong, move set hard to counter attack and he so fast till he attacking miss by himself because i still in
Anyways He so cool~
I never played any souls game, Right now I'm thinking about to start with Elden ring or sekiro isn't it gonna be to difficult for me ?
Fume Knight is so easy if you know how to dodge lmao. The first time I fought him I was SO SAD he wasn't that hard after earing everyone telling he is. Honestly the worst boss of DS2 is either the 3 sentinels, the gargoyle, royal rat authority or darklurker
Nameless King for DS3 ? Same here I was so sad after fighting him. He's not that hard. Friede however...
Orphan of Kos for me
Sister Friede is the hardest boss of DS3
I think the dragon in the ringed city dlc ( dark souls 3 ) was harder than storm king
Man eater or flamelurker for me
Slave knight Gael is 10x harder than the nameless king
Malenia is so cool and sexy🥰
SIMP
PINWHEEL GOT ROBBED
Laurence is harder than Orphan of Kos
DS1 - Kopro Demon
DS3 - Champion Gundir
Bloodborne - Kos
Elden Ring - Radagon/Elden Beast
Midir should’ve been the pick for ds3
Armored core 6 😢
